I use to be ranked 44 for sniping, and top 75 for pistol kills. and i must say that most of those kills looked rather easy.

i wish i taped a headshot on a sprining guy from 250m away :cry:

but anyways, one thing that should be added is 1 shot on a guy with an M95 or M24, then pistol spray. instant kill. Ive gotten people from 150m+ by doing that. Its faster than 2 shots, and easier than lining up a headshot

I watched the movie, read the first couple pages of the thread, didn't bother with the other 15 pages, but here's my bit anyway... 1st off this guy is a decent sniper but nothing special, all his kills are when he is camping and has no one shooting at him. Campers give snipers a bad name . The M95 can blow **** up, but not from only one shot, the vehicle has to be down to 2 or 3 bars of health at the most. I really should record all of my play, I get lots of great M95 kills... I've killed a BH pilot and proceeded to blow up the whole BH, got all 6 kills from it, killed plenty of jeeps, some attack choppers, LOTS of humvee/vodnik drivers thru the window, etc. But I'd say my best was when I killed a guy who was running full speed across my view (not towards or away from me in a straight line), at about 300m. I'll see if I can gather up some good footage in the future . The M95 is NOT garbage, if you learn how to use it. Anything is crap if you don't want to learn it and don't have the patience to learn it.

Oh I also wanna add that anyone who says snipers only stay hidden and use it because they're afraid... obviously you haven't played against me. I'm a self-proclaimed "assault sniper", and I kill bunny hoppers, noob tubers, and PKM sprayers on the front lines, with a lovely thing called a headshot. If I don't kill em in one shot, I whip out the pistol and they're down in one more hit. Add dropping claymores around their group to the mix, and snipers can be deadly. When I do this, I usually get a top 3 score. And I'm sure there are other snipers out there like me.

Don't make generalizations about classes that you don't play.

I use the m95 all the time and it does allow 1 shot kills, you just have to do it right. When the guy goes around the bldg he walks past the enemy before he realizes hes there then turns to knife him. The sniper walking into the room is trying to line up his sight and that is what gives the player time to walk up to him. Everything is legit as far as I can tell.

As for the vehicles, youd be surprised. Try it. For the shots on the heavier vehicles they must have been already damaged or it would not have worked. If you shoot the chopper pilot usually the whole thing goes. Also shooting the nose of a chopper with M95 will sometimes make it go, this may work for planes too (the runway shot).

Anyway, that video was not very tutorial.
Those kills really aren't representative of a typical game in BF2.
As stated, all the vehicle destructions were staged, so as far
as instructional videos go - 3/10. Entertainment - 7/10.
Both could be better.

The original poster has clearly mislead the viewer, when claiming this video to be a tutorial for you to get better at sniping. What use is there for a tutorial that has shots that cannot be done without a mod or a hack? And it certainly has no use when talking about BF2 without mods or hacks.

So what I'm saying here is that this could be approvable as a tut if it had clean shots, no messing around with putting vehicles near to death status or things like that.

And I think all this arguing about things wouldn't have even started, if this was just a generic sniping vid. As a vid this looks cool, but as a tut it's worth nothing.

And everything written above is just based in my point-of-view and my own opinions. Not ment to insult anyone.

it is a video - not saying he is the end all be all sniper, take it for entertainment value people.

lol, this whole thread is retarded. I read thru the first couple pages of nonsense, but dont feel like reading thru 17 pages of it. ITS A MOD. Get over it. Jesus. Let the man make a movie without all you little Stat Cakes coming in saying its impossible. Not with the power of MOD! Do you not find it akward that the m95 is firing the m24 sound, and that the damage is overpowered, and that he is a private with unlocks. It's because...dun dun dun! Mod! Yayyyy! Looks like he's playing singleplayer with a bunch of bots, mostly I come to this because of how fast the players die after he shoots, most internet games slow suck it. :/

this is one of 3 things - hacks, a set up, or a mod.

why? here's why:

1st - every shot hits as soon as he puts his crosshairs on the enemy and shoots. never have i seen this happen. i always have to wait a second before i shoot to hit, even with a guy standing completely still. aimbot or some kind of mod that makes the gun super accurate.

2nd - every shot was 1 shot, 1 kill, even if he didn't hit the head. the m95 cannot kill someone in 1 shot unless it is a headshot or they are already heavily damaged. so either aimbot, set up (guys were already damaged ahead of time) or mod that raises damage for 1 shot, 1 kill.

3rd - no vehicle can be destroyed in 1 shot with the m95. the only way it can be destroyed is it is is extremely damaged. i noticed some vehicles were smoking in the video but how did you know 1 shot would destroy them or was this a set up (predamaged vehicles or had c4 on them and they timed it so that the vehicles would blow up as soon as he shot.) Or could be a mod where the damage was set extremely high.

4th - interesting how you knew exactly when someone was coming around the corner to knife them. unless it was pre-arranged, its hacks. the time in the building, unless the guy was reloading, you would have been dead before you could even reach him. same with the guy in the street. also with the guy in the street, how did you know he was there? you went right around the corner and straight for him. seems fishy to me.

well your sorta right im a pretty good sniper there is no lead in bf2 there is no bullet drop if u dont bleive it try it unlock the M95 you may be suprised, iv also blowed up car,planes,boats they have to be damaged to a few bars of amror left u can also shoot people outta helo's i do it to my allies all the time just if u get a headshot your chances are 90% that they'll drop like a rock
