gas tank? what are you serious? -- it doesnt freaking matter with the humvee where you hit it
This whole thread is amusing to read. However Wynterheart does make a good point. The movie does depict the M95 being way more powerful than it really is in the game and might be a little misleading for those that are new to sniping and just getting into BF2. On an entertainment level, it's a hoot to watch and was well done.
If an m95 doesn't kill in one shot, it should. It is a .50 BMG round. Here's a picture of a .50 BMG bullet held up against a 5.56 NATO, the round used in m16s:
Big bullet. Cuts right through an engine block, and easily penetrates panzer glass.
Why dont you try the m95 and just shoot a apc and a plane and a boat. As a test to see how strong it is. Make a video to prove if he is wrong or right.
I havn't read all the posts, but everything except the 1 shot vehicle kills is comepletely probably, only problem is the chopper and jet werent smoking.His infantry killing was fine, the m95 is accurate, the sights just mess you up, almost as accurate as the m24, and it wasn't even super long range. So Don't think that part is set up at all. He just knows how to use the m95.
Nothing is wrong with his accuracy, and there is no bullet drop etc with the m95, it's with the other rifles, everything with his infantry is fine. The vehicles obviously were damaged, but its not like it couldn't happen in a real game.
EDIT: Great Video Man, Was going to make oney myself about sniping to show that it doesnt suck, but I don't have the hardware. I use m95 90%of the time also(when not in some sort of match situation) , glad to see that someone else knows its power :). Maybe I'll see you in game, just started playing again from a month break, should be fun.
Its simply amazing how people analyze this stuff. I enjoyed the video, if you actually need sniping lessons then having a semi-staged video as a lesson can't hurt. Great video, choose better music next time though.:p
