I'm tired of these newbis who say they got the 7800 GTX but are really bullsh*tting and say stupid ass things that arent true about them. You'd remotely look even a bit smart if you read the reviews and did some research into their benchmarks before you spoke. Maybe you'd sound half ass intelligent instead of a pretender.
Sure buddy..what sort of proof would you like..

I have 2 x Asus EN 7800GTX that I purchased here in Australia for $1095.00 each from Computer Alliance..... what proof would you like....? Receipts? photos? a small video perhaps? just let me know and I will gladly PROVE IT!

You can go to http://www.overclockers.com.au/ and look in the forums (Video card) section and do a search for username anthonyl.....lol..I know what I have and dont need to prove anything..but if you want it just name it. I have a 7MPixel Canon digital that takes nice BIG photos and reasonable movies as well..so just let me know what you need.

Will it slow down gameplay? Maybe, if your comp cant handle it.

        Will it lag more?
No, unless you got a sh!tty connection.

i have been testing bf2 on my bros pc as he has a 6600GT.

          Question:-

do you lot think it would be better to run bf2 at 1024x768 with 2x AA

          or

1280x1024 (native res for TFT) with no AA?

On an ATI card the 2x will be faster than the 1280x1024. ATI AA is very fastwithout a speed hit practically at 2x.

Anthony: You spent $2,190 on videocards? What a waste of money :) I'm getting an entire PC based around a single 7800 for $2,500 - including LCD display! And guess what, I'll get the same framerates as you will

MassKiller, show me a screeny with you running at 16x. Please, I just want to see how it is that YOU can do it, while everyone else with a 6800 or X800 series card can't.

Where'd you get your 7800s from? I couldn't find them anywhere else online besides Computer Alliance (well, I checked Umart and Gamedude - those are the two other most popular ones).

Got both of mine from Computer Alliance, A friend got his from Gamedude and he got the Albatron at $899.00. (Paid $1095.00 each for mine.) You can also try Scorptech or PlusCorp if you want to get them sent to you, but I prefer to deal local in case of problems.

Yeah, the PC I'm getting for $2,500 is all coming from CA. I've used them since 1998 and I'm willing to pay the extra 10% or so for the guaranteed after-sales service. Oh Gamedude how I loathe thee! "DOA? User error."

Never had a problem with Gamedude (apart from waiting in the line for hours).

They have always swapped goods that were faulty (once even when it was my fault).

But CA is not far from where I live (Camp Hill) and there proces are almost as cheap as Gamedude.
