I read that most of the terrorist attacks against US and British troops are from other countries, such as Saudi Arabia and Syria. These are also the same people that attack the Iraqi civilians and police.

I hope you're kidding, can you name any other military in history that had a rules of engagement? I mean the worst we do in gitmo is flush a fairy tale book down the toilet. When we are prisoner they cut our heads off. One side is trying to liberate the country and let them take care of themselves, and make it an overall better place to live. The other side is trying to take over the country themselves and simply slaughter as many americans, and anyone who follows americans as possible. Does america carbomb mass gatherings of women and children when the jihadists are handing out candy? I dono man, I think you need to rethink your whole conecept of the iraq war. Its pretty clear to most people that america is the right side, and the jihadists are the wrong. You can clearly ****ing see it in the video. If they werent so bad, then how come theyre not trying to take over the country by running for president/prime minister/whatever? Why dont they start a campaign, why dont they get on the ballot so people can CHOOSE them to run the country?

I do not have to agree with the war but I am still behind the soldiers. War isn't fun and death should not be happy. But being an American, if I had to choose between an American soldier living or an Insurgent/Terrorist living, I would pick the American.

It just comes down to who you side with. The Coalition over there is just following orders, they do not all believe that this is worth it, but it is there job.

They don't want to run for office because they were the minority in control, they had all the political power and everything under Sadams control and now they lost it and they are pissed. So obviously the oppresive minority is the right side.

Eh, I only slightly agree with you. I am sided to the American side because I am an American. But just because we have democracy does not make it the best choice of government. All types have it's ups and downs. You cannot really make assumptions saying the way we do things is the best.

That link should help you out a bit. It isn't just the average Iraqi who is fighting, it is mostly the people who had all the power and abused it and now lost it all, and people from other countries.

Eh, I only slightly agree with you. I am sided to the American side because I am an American. But just because we have democracy does not make it the best choice of government. All types have it's ups and downs. You cannot really make assumptions saying the way we do things is the best.

But now with a democracy they atleast have some say in what goes on, and could even change their government if they want to.
