yes its rared and divx.. but if worst comes to worst just view the putfile link.. or download it directly from putfile (search for .wmv in the source code of the page) i made it the best quality i can possibly get with their file limitations unlike my first bf2 video i hosted there..

i have recieved many posts on how superbly edited this video is, and comments like these "I'll tell you what....being ex-Army and spending a decent amount of time in BHs, when that thing came up into sight like that....I got goose bumps. Very nice." and " A short but awesome Movie. I can only recommend to download & watch it. The Author knows how to put optical & accustical Moods together."

This is nothing like some of the movies that have been posted before, therefore i can only reccomend you to watch it or atleast look at the screenshots of it..

am i the only person on the face of this planet who didnt like this movie? i am not going into why it sucked cause ill probably get flamed. i just found it really really boring, aside from the nice effects which obviously are good, but apart from that i dont like it, no sir.

actually before i get flamed, id just like to say this has the best camera work on any bf2 vid ive seen so far, some of the best overall directing.
and the music going with it was very emotional and yadda yadda yadda its all for nothing if the plot and action oozes with uncreativity.
there is no point to it. the plot is, there is no plot. its like u wasted all that potential on trying to make it look good u forgot to actually do anything cool with a story.
and u dont have to have voices to have a story. some of the best scenes from movies have no talking.
you could havce made it that one of the arabs sees teh blackhawk coming in and ralleis up the men but yeah, i am not getting into it other than try getting some writers on board to help u make your next movie.

good job though.

Darkshot, Ill let you into a secret. These forums have a edit button just to the right so you can just edit the post without having to make multiple post like you have. Oh and how can you compare Speilberg with Shumacher? These two people have totally different careers. Speilberg makes films and Shumacher races fast cars, How the hell do you compare them both? I do agree that his next film should have a story. Going back to the assault on that little base, He could have had something else at the beginning telling us why and what they actually have to do.

i just watched it, and it was great!! however, i would like to comment that u should make it somewhat longer and let it have a plot, as of now great work with the cameras and effects!! hell, this could replace the real BF2 intro movie if it had more action involving other vehicles and such in it!!

Whats the plot? Hmmm lets see a group of MEC are taking the mosque flag and they get ambushed by a BlackHawk which pops out incredibly from valley. All the MEC get blown away except for one guy which was hiding in "the hole".

Is that enough plot for you guys???????

Did the intro movie for BF2 have anymore plot than this movie?? It was the same thing. Basically an attack on a base with troops trying to defend it.

You guys don't noticed with the tools given in battlerecorder make movies like this VERY difficult to make and Keyelite still did an amazing job. Just think of it as an extra intro movie, not some plot style movie and you'll be fine.

I honestly dont really care about the storyline as of right now.. you realized all of these movies i have made are just PRACTICES just for me to improve my editing and filmmaking skills.. and i just so happen to post them on the web... so a storyline is almost at the bottom of my list of what to do.. as long as it gets somewhere its fine for me. and Thameth is right.. if this had no storyline, then i doubt the bf2 intro movie and all other videos EA has made before the release of the actual game.. had a storyline.. seriously, watch ea's videos.. "A squad advances and sees hostile forces", "boat is being chased by a helicopter".. you get the idea

also in your suggestion on making it a better plot.. if the arab sees the blackhawk.. that defeats the whole purpouse of the video, its an ambush ... they had no idea the heli would pop up at that specific moment..

thanks for the comment though ill try making the storys a little better but i cant garuntee it.. you should be lucky to even be seeing decently good movies like these, im sure you enjoyed the video atleast a tiny bit even if it had the crappiest plot in the world..
