Ambush at Mashtuur City, (A Serious Must Watch)

    http://battlefield2.filefront.com/fi...uur_City;45870

i have recieved many posts on how superbly edited this video is, and comments like these "I'll tell you what....being ex-Army and spending a decent amount of time in BHs, when that thing came up into sight like that....I got goose bumps. Very nice." and " A short but awesome Movie. I can only recommend to download & watch it. The Author knows how to put optical & accustical Moods together."

This is nothing like some of the movies that have been posted before, therefore i can only reccomend you to watch it or atleast look at the screenshots of it..

..i hope you all enjoy this one

Oh, I almost forgot that someone made a menu mod for with the footage
    http://battlefield2.filefront.com/fi...Menu_Mod;46897
Basically, It replaces the boring looped strike at karkand menu_loggedin backround with either a B/W version of Ambush at Mashtuur city or a Color version
I think its really nice, especially the Black and White version, since the karkand loop was b/w its a nice transition into something different. I have it and its always fun to see that helicopter pop up as your waiting for someone in a server to leave..
If you enjoyed this movie, its reccomended that you take a look at it

Yea I saw it lastnight. Extremely well done unlike any other movie so far. Must've used some funky plug-ins for Premiere cuz that was real Spielberg sh$t there.

                          Tell us more ...

Keyelite, will you tell us some more about yourself and your approach? I'm always intrigued by the background of anyone who creates high-quality videos like these.

I really enjoyed both of your videos and I think your editing, in particular, was the best I've seen for any BF2 movies. Do you have much experience in editing or film-making in general?

                          Also, how old are you?

i tought myself about editing and filmmaking..i took a filmmaking course at ringling scool of arts a year ago, the teacher said i was one of the best students there.. knew everything on the mac about the program (even though i never used that program or edited on the mac), started and manage a digital photo club at school, and im trying to watch a 9 hour course on stationary filming. I am now learning 3D animation and modeling.. so as you can see, im probibly going to do something with filmmaking when i get older..

If you really didnt want to read all that, the important stuff of my post is.. im 17, and i learned this all by myself over the years

                              I'm even more impressed!

Thank-you very much for all that information, Keyelite!

I really appreciated learning those details about you and your background, especially the fact that you've been learning these things almost entirely on your own. I've only just started learning how to use Adobe Premiere and, like you, I've been interested in film-making for a number of years. I've focused primarily on the study of screenwriting throughout that period but I'm really wanting to supplement that knowledge with a study of other fields such as editing, sound mixing, directing, various post-production techniques, etc.

Excellent films like yours are a constant source of inspiration, so keep up the good work! Like many people here, I'm already looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

You certainly have a lot of talent and creativity.
