Do you use the WSAD controls or custom?

My controls are..

Arrows for moving.

0 for prone

. for ducking

Scroll wheel for switching weapons

scroll wheel pushed in for reload

space for jump because I don't jump much.

Arrows for land rides. But for choppers and planes its default. Oh and boats.

Well im one of those highly advanced individuals knows and a 'left hander' so i use the arrows and as my name implies i dont have a problem with finger size us lefties are pooly catered for and therefore have to be highly adaptable and generally more skilled that your common or garden righty....

ive got one of the logitec MX500 desktop kb sets so i use the buttons on that too (teamspeak/voip, auto/single, toggle pistol, reload and sprint)

i would give the Z board a go if they made it in left flavor too.. thats one of the reasons i like my saitek evo... looks lovely and its adjustable for left,right and hand/finger size.

I use WASD, its the only way!!!! only one change though, I have changed crouch to V as I find it was hard to quickly press crouch when it was at its default button.

i actual;ly use the cursor for movement and i use num 0 as jump right ctrl as duck and space to go prone i also use num 1 to bring up the thing to spot enemies etc.

The reason being i use my left hand on the mouse :)

I'm left handed so I use the numpad for control and use the left over keys for weapon selection (including mouse wheel up and down for main weapons).

If the keybinding were easier then my life would be alot easier to rebind some of the other keys.

my mouse is handy because it has a extra button on either side so i use the right one as reload and the left one as 'use' the only trouble is occasionally in a heli etc i press use by accident and fall to my death

"WASD" for moving.
"C" to crouch.
"X" to prone.

I use WADF.. Always have since I started playing CS back in '98. Just use whatever feels comfortable and don't be afraid to experiment.

I haven't used arrow keys since Duke Nukem 3D, i remember the first time i got Half-Life i was crap at using the mouse so i used the same controls as Duke Nukem, didn't work it was better to use the mouse. Despite that i never used wasd unitl bf 1942 came haven't looked back, far superior. Although all the people i know who use strange customised controls are leet at CS.
