i use WSAD, it just works.

Use 3 fingers for the movement (forward, back, strafe left/right)

Little finger for crouch, thumb for jump/prone,

Also one of top 3 fingers for reload and use etc.

        And the mouse :)

I noticed my reaction time is slow when I use the default controls compared to using the arrows for movement. And 0 for crotching and . for going prone. I don't even worry about jumping.

And I know this is way off topic but I have some pizza that is wraped in a sealed plastic is there a way to cut it in half and save the other frozen half?

I can never play with the wasd keys, they just seem un-natural. The first FPS I played was Unreal tournament and the default keys were the arrow keys so thats what I learnt and it's what I stuck with.

And you know those Battlefield 2 headsets that were free with pre-order?

Well I wanted to try it out while I'm home alone. Don't like family looking at me talk to myself. I noticed their are two plugs. A black one with a picture of headphones and a pink one with the picture of a mic.

And I have a dell 8400 desktop with inputs on the front a USB and a headphone jack. Which color do I plug in?

Uhhh... both? Put the pink in the pink hole (rofl) and put the black in the green hole. Or do what I did: split the wires and plug the black into your speaker jack and have the other going down behind your computer. If thats possible.
                  :)

custom. centered around the arrow keys to the left og the numpad. WASD is awkward and kludgy, IMO.

WASD - It's the only way!

It's perfect shoulder length apart with the mouse, all the needed buttons surround it - Ahh, it just feels great.

I tried using a custom set, due to the design my keyboard. with BF2's horrible customization system though, I kept it at WASD to save myself time.
