Keep the punish, just change it so people are more mature with them.

Punish is ok, even good if it isnt abused... Its the Punish P**sys that need to go... you know who you are, the one who just pushes punish like it gives you a moral boost or someshit...! I know sometimes there are dumbasses that TK on purpose, thats what the kick vote is for...

About the punishing, I think that not many people actually READS the message and just assume it says "Page Up to punish" which, for most people, seems more logical.

Not sure though. I could be very wrong :-)

let me tell you about my experience...

I'm waiting for a plane happily, lah-dee-dah when 3 guys sprint over... and decide to wait with me to try and get the plane. Anyway, i end up getting the plane, then all these guys run back and all stand next to the run way. I waited for a while to see what they were doing but they just stood there. So i powered a real little bit and just rolled a few meters and all 3 of them sprint and start diving under my wheels, they all killed themselves, but i got -24 points. Is that F'd up or what...

If they dont make a big enough change to the TK system in the next patch, then im going to make 9,007,574,457 complaints.

The noobs punishing dont bother me so much, they dont press the punish button it just goes to default. It's the so called 'team players' who press punish straight away if they fall from the helo without they're parachute opening or decide lying behind a tank would be good cover in a firefight (You know who you are 11BC dickwad)

the tk sysmte is gonna be fixed in the next patch, so people driving their jeep into your tank, deliberately running into your vehicle will not go as a teamkill towards you

I'm not sure but it seems as though there is an option to turn auto-kick on/off even on ranked servers? The set-up for ranked servers should be the same on every ranked server. Yesterday I joined a server and was instantly tk'd. Some jerk was ruining the game and we were losing, alot of people wanted to kick him but we couldn't vote for it and auto-kick was either off or not working.

All they have to do is change it to auto no punish. The person actually has to want to go and punish someone instead of it being autopunish.

Agreed. I've actually accidently punished someone twice because I didn't know that I was TKed and I didn't press anything.

Maybe a new punish system could be introduced: After a TK the teamkillers next respawn should be brought to 60 or 90 seconds or so...

In MOHAA there were servers running mods where any FF damage actually happened to the offending shooter, not the 'victim.' Make a mod where any personal weapon tk or damage hurts the shooter instead. This makes for more realistic play and more realistically careful soldiers.

Leave arty and mines alone because that is usually player negligence. Aircraft should suffer vehicle damage for any team damage.

the punish system isnt that bad, the main problem imo is that the penalty is just too steep, hence why everyone gets so pissed when they are punished and it isnt their fault, asside from the principle of the thing that is.

I agree. You already lose points rather you are punished or not. It should be that if you are forgiven you lose no points and if you are punished you lose 2 or maybe 4 points. But without a punish system people would be pissed you left them out the heli even though it was full and shoot it down as well as any other vehicle.
