NO PUNISH ranked servers!!!

I just played on one 2 minutes ago. Absolute worst game I have ever experienced since I started playing this game. Guys were killing each other left and right, firing rockets at friendly vehicles.. it was a mess!! I felt like I was in a bad dream.

If the Admins could control the situation and let their presence be known, hell yes. If it's anything like the game I just played, NEVER.

totally agreed.... no punish servers just turn into chaos... id rather have people get a little over punished, then total chaos.


This kind of **** makes me yern for my op flash days... I wont have to wait long though because "Armed Assault" is coming soon, and it is like a big updated and enhanced op flash 1 2.0.

I think they should make it where Mines arent triggered by teammates because thats where All my TKs and Punishes come from. is Stupid people running into my mines and then punishing me

I've played on a few "disabled" TK punish servers, and the low down is this: if you TK, you get the full negative points as if you were punished, without actually getting punished.

So you're actually worse off statwise then if you were to play on a normal server. On a normal server you can get forgiven and only recieve half the penality, where as in this case, you will recieve -4 each and every time you TK someone.

Not worth is IMHO. And FF disabled is the worst idea for this type of game...ever. I hate the servers running Karkand with FF off.

Just an FYI, there is a mod being worked on from some admin on the Punksbusted.com site, which will allow admins to disable the TK ability of certain weapons, like the AT mine. Not sure of the progress on it, last time I checked it wasn't finished. Personally, I'm loving the idea of bringing the engineer back into the game, I'm sick of playing AT.

If your a engineer you will have TK's its just the way it is.. I mean it isn't anything new just play careful I don't see what's so hard about that

I play on a ranked server that has punish off. It has about 6 - 10 admins playing at any given time, so intentional Tking, standing in front of vehicles looking to be TK'd or acting like an idiot in general will get you kicked/baned.

Punish system is a joke

Almost all the TK's I cause are freak accidents yet looking at the neg points I must have been intentinally Tk'ng. The punish system is just making a bad system (teamkill penalty) worse.

Between bumping friendly players to having your heat seaking missles that locked on to your target fly off and hit a friendly chopper the Teamkill system is just a complete mess.

There would still be negative score from TKing right? Just not the extra negative score from a punish on top of that.

We tried turning off TK punish on our server and it became a TK fest within 30 mintues. We usually have admins on to kick the people causing problems but we had to turn it back on because we there won't always be an admin 24/7.

The best thing we can do for now is ask people who insta-punish to only punish for intentional TK's.

There needs to be an extra step to punish someone for TK's. If they truely deserved it, people won't mind hitting an extra button or two to punish.

If they want to make it simple, they should elliminate FF. Or they could make it so that after a set number of TK's, maybe 3-4, you're kicked. The punish system as it is is not very well thought out. But then again, some engineers are too stupid not to remove mines when the enemy has left the area and put them in places that block teammates too. I hate those guys and I punish because they deserve it.
