It's definitely an improvement over the sixteen player map. If you enjoy flying the jet (and why else would you be playing Clean Sweep?) then you know how easy it is to run out of room to maneuver.

I don't bother with multiplayer, and it's only with this mod and increasing the bot and ticket counts that I've started to get some entertainment value from this game.

I'll be looking forward to that. So far the problems, in general terms, seem to be that the soldiers won't travel to the newly opened territory (nor can they be ordered to do so), and you can't capture flags that are included in that space. There's a red line drawn through them on the map and they can't be overtaken, making victory by conquering territory impossible.

Still, it's been nice to have the regions opened. I just treat all that new space as my own personal toy box, such as the air craft carriers with their helicopters and jet fighters.

can u tell me after i restore the sp file to play online, after i finish that, and just wish to have go on 64 map size which u made, do i run ur mod file again or is there another option to go back and forth, i was a bit ansure about that,

        pls help.
Thanks, and to answer your question. Yes you can keep jumping back and forth between the original setup & SP64 by running the restore and then installing again.

Thanks Dib for the screenie's and welcome elwood! Hope you all are enjoying yourselves.

So Viathon have you came up with any ideas why mine isn't working? I have higher than windows 5.6 script and everything looked like it installed right. I do not see any restore file, i don't know what that is, and i placed the .exe in My Documnets/Battlefield 2 folder. What could possibly be wrong?

Click Start -> Run -> CMD and then a black box should come up and type SET , then look for the line that says USERPROFILE= , what does that line read?

I get the same error "battlefield 2 was not found and this patch will not install!" I have installed battlefield in the default directory, it is a full version and I just installed Windows Script 5.6 and rebooted afterwards. I can't get past that error in the installation process. What do you suggest I do.

I am running windows xp professional sp2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the default install folder "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\" do you have the BF2.EXE?

Re: Battlefield 2 Single Player 64 Maps

Great news! Version 1.04 is getting close to completion and will contain many improvements. I have already started work to support a dedicated server option for AI supported bots in Coop mode. The new version will also operate completely independent of the game files, so there is no way it can 'Fudge' anything up. I have also been toying with the idea of integrating Kubra Dam & Mashtuur City into single player, but for the time being the AI will be confined to aircraft only. At least until I can get a working navmesh going. What do you guys think?

1.04 sounds great , but if you can't play as infantrie in kubra dam and mashtuur city then it makes no sense

Does it happen to work with the demo?

So, do you think I should keep them excluded until the navmeshes are done?

I did not intend 1.03 to support the demo, if it does work let me know. I have not had the time to do much testing. 1.04 will not support the demo version however.

1.04 sounds great, I and my friends have been holding off installing again till it can run without interfering with MP. Great news.

I have been lurking the boards for awhile watching this thread and just wanted to post our thanks Viathon for all your effort, much appreciated, man.

Could there be a version without the installer? I really want to use it but i cant because the installer doenst work with x64. Maybe I could install it on my other computer which is 32 bit and copy the modified files.

I believe so. Otherwise you're opening yourself to numerous "why doesn't the AI work?" questions (don't ever expect people to read the readme file) and it'll cause more trouble than it's worth. Besides, as the person above stated it hardly constitutes playable maps.

I will be content just to have the existing maps fully functional.
