Don't nerf the Blackhawk

Instead of nerfing the Blackhawk (which EA will most likely do) why don't they make the flying cows that are the MEC and Chinese transport helocopters more powerful?

I will admit that at times I will be in a Blackhawk the entire round, not for the fun of the game, but to rack up points. I just think that to make it fair, the other teams should have the same power that USMC does.

why not just have it so people cant capture vehicles in the safter of their vehicle? i.e. you cant raise a flag sittin 20yards away and/or in a car/ heli right?

I think they should make the MEC and China helicopters stronger, but they should also remove the ability to capture points inside helicopters

I agree with the original poster. The guns on the both the MEC and PLA choppers are nothing compared to Blackhawk miniguns. The miniguns on Blackhawks spray like crazy within a fairly big radius but on the other choppers, you'll be lucky to hit someone.

Anyways, i think the blackhawk should be weakened instead of increasing the power of all of the others because then there would be three helicopter whoring sides and there would rarely be any infantry combat anymore. they might as well call it battlehawk2 or some **** cheesy.

I agree, as much as I am annoyed by getting killed by them, hunting blackhawks is more fun than flying in them. They are very simple to take down if you put any effort into the hunt.

They should just have it that you cant repair them in the air... that would solve all of the problems..

Or turn the blackhawk gattlings into the super cobra ones.. Ive noticed the supercobra gatling cant kill ****.

Aww, c'mon guys, the blackhwak is great the way it is. If you're in it you get a bunch of kills. If you kill it you get a bunch of kills. win win, right?

Oh, and by the way, if they make it so that you cant repair helicopters in flight, it would just make the chinese and mec helicopters even sh***ier wastes of space.

Consider this another vote to:
(1) eliminate flag captures from the air
(2) eliminate in-air repairing of choppers
(3) increase reload time and repair time when landed on pad (not hovering over, but landed!)

I unloaded on a BH for 20 seconds in a vodnik. It survived due to engineers repairing. Maddening. Why in the world a single direct tank shell doesn't destroy any aircraft is ludicrous. No need to nerf the guns. Just eliminate the cheese. Or at least include animations of the engineers climbing out to the rear rotor and slapping on some bondo. That would be ok too.

Teamwork > all.

The blackhawk isn't the one with the problem its the players. EA/DICE said from the get go, that teamwork will be required in this game. If they use teamwork and you don't, then tough ****. However disabling the engineers repair while in transport seems like the most feasible, reasonable option, although I disagree with even this.
If your team is smart, and you have smart pilots, or a smart commander the Blackhawk will never spend more then 5 minutes in the air.
