If there are a lot of people, then I play Medic and I farm revive and heal points (50+). If it's a small-medium game, then I'm one of your "GP-30/M203 noobs"

When I play, I always forget about using my grenades and just try to shoot people. I'm not the best either but I have fun. Its the whiners and complainers that ruin it for everyone else. It's only a game and not to be taken seriously. I kind of have a laugh at the different ways that people have killed me.Comment

As for the other question, its not that simple in BF2. As it is now (on the pubs), gameplay is quickly reduced to the lowest common denominator. Isn't that what all the bhoppers always tell us: "stop crying and adapt, learn how to do it yourself" "get some skillz and you can become l33t" bla, bla, bla.
So we get exactly that. More and more people 'adapting' - but ultimately bringing the game down. Take a close look at the threads on this board. You could spend a day reading how quickly the gameplay is getting really rediculous on the pubs.
That said - outside of BF2, the model for high level, team-based gameplay EVEN on a pub (IMHO) is - DAY OF DEFEAT: AVALANCHE. You dont see a lot of cheesy gameplay on that map.Comment

MOST 203 kills are coming from CQB type ranges, this has to be the case. Those kills are cheap.
Peeps are using it as a primary weapon on Karkand for these very reasons:
1 - NO DOWNSIDE at all to using it in CQB (other then TK, which NOOBS COULD CARE LESS ABOUT)
2 - UNLIMITED SUPPLY OF AMMO.Comment

Actually i a little bit agree with you, however most time i play there is usualy one side is full of ppl who are sort of new in the team game, which makes this side they are on a losing side... but what about points, naa for me the best way to get the points would be to play on 16 player map.. just get into a vehicle alone or with the crew and start rushing each flag once its captured by enemy since they are not too far from each other...
in Karkand i mostly never go alone, i go with my friends and we always work as a team, which even if we lose makes it loads of fun to play :p and i think snipers make this map better, because im not a sniper abviously, so i always need to make sure i am walking somewhere where i am not seen..Comment

i think hes right... i know im all late with this quote but, did anyone else find it wierd that the pistol is so accurate? even at far ranges? ive been on rooftops with my pistol and taking people out qicker than if i used the L18...whatever (medic gun) i like it tho lolComment

STRIKE AT KARKAND IS THE DE_DUST OF BF2
Soon we will have Strike at Karkand 2, Stike at Karkand Nights, etc. Maybe they'll even add Bombsites A and B for good measure. Utimately no map is complete without some form of "double doors" for your team to rush through. Then at round start we can all type "RUSH THE DOUBLE DOORS U NOOBS RUSH!!!11!111" Finally tell everyone on your team to "RUSH WITH UR KNIVES OUT!!11!" because we all know you run faster when you have your knife out.
