Just because you get owned by better players on that map doesn't make it a 'noob-magnet'.

There should be servers that have a required amount of points to play on. I think that would be a great idea. There could actually be some fun, NOOB FREE, gameplay. Thats something EA should consiter.

In all my years of gaming, I've never seen a single map that brings 'em out like Karkand.

You see EVERY SINGLE EXAMPLE of teh noobs. I mean, you see every loser method of gameplay that exists in BF2 on this single map.

It's getting worse and worse on the pubs every day.

Gotta love these players who think they are so much better and everyone is a noob except for them.

IMO, I dont think the M203/GPs are noob magnet. think about it. yeah, its easy to kill with it if you go close. but its also as easy to kill from up close with a Assault/medic MG. Hey, its a noobcannon too! lets say everyone that uses AKs or M-16 are noobs! the only 1337 players are those that get all their kills with pistols! but, ho, wait, its the most accurate weapon in game, so its a noobcannon! hey , the only good players are the ones that kills only with knife! now THAT is real 1337 skill.

That's right...and that's why I hang out there as well. As a very experienced medic...I have PLENTY of work to do reviving the noobs so that they can get shot up all over again.

After blasting someone with the noobcannon (wOOt!..2 points), I hang around waiting for medics. Once the medic revives him, I blast them both (wOOt!...4 points).

Actually, I think this map as well as the other two urban combat maps separate the noobs from the l33ts. Takes MUCH skill to stay alive and do your job on those maps.
The other larger maps are for flag cap noobs IMHO. Running around in a buggy capping flags doesn't take much skill.

And please....do enlighten us with what "noob methods" are being used....

i bet ppl think im a noob. i have knife fights with enemy tanks, and it can last for about 5 to 10 min nad ppl get really pissed and say F*CKING NOOB DIE ALREADY. lol

Did you know....that the knife DOES cause damage to a tank. I kid you not!
Start up a server or get on a server waiting for players. Walk over to a tank or an APC. Start hacking away. Tanks will suffer damage. Try it.

I don't mind blasting medics or keeping them occupied. If they're after me, they're not reviving and their team loses the ticket. Then they'll probably lose another ticket after I kill the wandering medic
