Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I'll use this old thread as a good place to let out my anger about n00bs on karkand.
I had some pretty amazing and fun games in the morning. But when i came on at night, that's when all the n00bs were on.
You can't ****ing do ******** without being m203'd. Seriously, i think THE WHOLE USMC team were using them. Then spawn camping with the m203?! UGH!!!
This game was good at the start when people wouldn't use it.
I like to run into the hot spots, where all the fighting is going on. I like a good old war. I mostly either go medic or Assault. So yeah, i was running into this alley, just in front of the USMC spawn points, and this guy with the m203 panics when i turn up right in front of his face, so he shoots the m203, killing him and all his team mates, and of course, me aswell. WTF is up with that?! When i run into someone face to face, i don't panic, i just quickly switch to the pistol.
These n00bs are so ****ing cheap.
The M203. - Making BF2 feel like Unreal Tournament!
People like it for the lack of air power. But people like it the most because it is fun, fast paced, and yes, many kills are promised. Its a giant meat grinder where actual strategy can be used, its great.
BUT: If I enter a Karkand server and then get 5 deaths in a row by 203s, I cry...
I disagree. There's no time for strategy when you're getting torn apart by bunnyhopping n00b tubers, spawn killed by armor, or blown so high you can see the roof of every building in the map by artillery. Take away the attack helos and jets in any map and it becomes hugley more opened to strategy. If they took those away from every map I bet Karkand would be the least strategic.
Points make you a better player? It's nOObs like you with stripes that are the problem.
I change my name now EVERY week. Y..you ask. I LOVE to be the private, with no unlocks, that pwn "high ranked skilled" players like yourself.
203...hmmm...this weapon rocks! 5ft to 100ft...who cares...your still a victim when i plug that round into your chest! Your prob the same kinda nOOb that cried over the shotgun in BFDC.

Your the goof medic that revives people in front of an enemy tank. Go away...i don't want revived! I want to respawn with full ammo, so i can blast 203 rounds into the nOOb sgts. Then bunny hop to the corporal and knife him while he screams on voip..."quit jumping!"
Lastly, Karkland ROCKS! This is the one of the best INF. maps bf2 has. Someone said it earlier, no planes. This is one of the best maps for Squad play. Expecially if your US.
So, the moral of the story is, **** Rank. All you stat whores who have made SSG means squat. It means your a nOOb who plays ONLY on ranked servers and thinks Rank means skill.
Remember, theres a private out there with a knife ready to cut your stripes off!
I wont cry because people use game features like the 203... I find that people who complain alot about the 203, for example, really ask for it most of the times.
They usually run into hotspots, where people wait for them, and since they're all like "have to get there in 2 sec" they get ****ed off when they die.
I did the same things myself, both 203ing and running like a wanted man into hot-spots.
Now, about 40 hrs into a game like this, I find that if youre in a squad and take time and plan your advance it makes you more tolerant to noob tubers and that it doesnt bug me that much at all.
Some people are just used to running in SP with god mode and stuff so they still have it in the back of their mind when they play multi...
While yes, Karkand is a noob magnet, it is also one of the maps which most of the people who play BF2 Get their badges, medals, ect. from.
However, I have never found myself in your position where everyone is playing an assault class, and only using the M203 grenade attachment. In short, I think you'll just have to deal with the newbies :]
