Wow G3 is bad on first impression

I went with the G3 first.. Mainly because its a 7.62 (explains the devation on the shots) and will usually drop a guy with 2-3 shots to the chest.

My only complaints are the 20 round magazine (the extra 10 rounds from the 30 round mag really makes a big difference sometimes) and the reload time/process seems alot slower than the rest.

What irks me is that in real life the G3 has grenad launcher kits that can be attached. Like I said, the G3 is the only unlocked rifle I have and I hardly use it. To be honest I'm really not that interested in anything besides the M16/203. 16 can easily drop guys in 2-3 shots and the 203 is good against technicals and light armor.

Thats just my report on this subject though.

The G3 is quite acurate in single shot mode, you do not use as much ammo.
The G3 is deadly on full auto in close quarters, enough ammo in clip to take two people down.
The G3 uses 7.62 mm rounds as opposed to the m16 (5.56mm round) it hits a hell of a lot harder than the m16 - like the Ak47.
Normal grenades are much more versatile than the m203 ( and I am good enough to live without the noooob cannnnon)

Try mid range sniping with the gun for a while to get the feel for it, switch to full auto if going into a point or building.

Like all the guns you just need to emotionally join with it.

Why does everyone has some kinda' disdain for the M203? Yet! Yet! They are willing to play SF with the most unbalanced weapon in the game?

it only does 1 or 2 more gamge than the AK, i hope they tweak the accuracy though cause its the most innacurate assault rifle out there.

Yeah i've been using it for a while now as it was my first unlock and to be honest i'd say that it wasn't anything like as accurate as its meant to be. Allegedly its meant to be as accurate as the stock Spec Op weapons but its not, nowhere near.

FIRST off the G3 is THE most accurate assualt rifle in the game, second put it on single shot and go prone. 2-3 shots kill a guy. either you have no aim or you are thinking its the M4A1 in counter-strike. you cant spray with this gun. if you ever shot the PKM its like that you have to do it in burst not full out spray. the G3 owns. but the person using it must too.

This statement is so wrong. Do a search on these forums for comparisons broken down to the very number of deviation and damage per bullet.
