CTD Error

My terrain is on medium and it still crashes. How do you explain that?

my terrain is on high and it still CTD at 14%.
come on guys put some thinking into this, its got nothing to do with graphics.

Wish I could help, but setting everything on medium was what did it for me. Without being able to duplicate your error, there's not much I can do to test possible solutions :/

I had this problem, (although it may be unrelated, but with similar consequences), it crashed about 15%.

I belive it happened because I chose "Save All" and clicked everybox, saved, it had a few error messages I think about undergrowth, then tried to play and crash.

Started a new map, which I'm working on now, and no problem at all.

I had this problem just editing game files by hand.

yeah that seems to work. However if EA doesn't fix this with the new PATCH. I shall never buy anymore games from them.
