i SAW a SAW SAW a squad into tiny peices. There is nothing more rewarding than going prone and having an enemy squad wipe out you squad. Then when they tink its clear they run out only to be mowed down by my SAW! :laugh:
And you can nade spam which is always fun

"PKM = People Killing Machine" Very much true!!!

I am a aviator and spend 90% of my time in the air when playing on a map that has jets available. I decided to pick up Support calass when i am playing on city map or when to many people are after jets. i have to say i am having almost as much fun as when i am in the air!!

None of the support class guns are inaccurate if u know their effective ranges and how to shoot them. PKM all...it really is a squad killer. I rack up kills and kill assist easily with this gun.

1.Shoot in prone position whenever possible never shoot while standing. (bullets spray everywhere)

2. Shoot in burst of single shot. Only use full auto if fuy is right in ur face!! It is possbile to be accurate up to 100 meters when shooting singles. Have done so with PKM.

3. Use handgun when shooiting over 50-70 meters.

4. Use iron sight!!!! Crosshairs do not help at all when firing light machine with their massive recoils. Unless they are right in front of u use the iron site!!

I want to unlock the pkm too since support tends to kick arse in alot of situations.

Then again I love the sniper and I could easily use the glass piercing of the 50cal rifle.

I unlocked the g3 and its very nice for assault if used well.

the m95 unlock is worthless unless you play mec/china a lot and don't like their sniper guns and want 2 shot kills. i find that it is very inaccurate too. about the only time you can snipe through a windshield is if they just got in and are getting ready to take off. i've done it once while it was flying but i think it was more luck than anything. so basically you have to camp their helo/jet spawns. i wish i would have unlocked something else, like the pkm or the spec ops gun.

i've recently started playing the support class a lot more too. the SAW isn't as bad as i thought it was at 1st. use it in bursts and a single burst can take out an enemy. its really good on karkand, especially if you can aim it at a point where a lot of people gather or a choke point where they are all trying to come through. just mow everything down, lol.

i can't stand the assault g3, btw. that thing is utter crap, imo.

now i play either a lil bit of everything or support.....i always took for granted that someone would be there to fill up my ammo for my noob cannon. Also, 44 hours really!??! didnt think it was that much. i only use it now when some other noob thinks he can out noob cannon everyone else and i have to go put him in his place. after that i go back to support. :)

When I hit Cpl, I will unlock the PKM I think, been hearing nice things about it, and hope to test drive one on a server by stealing it beforehand.

ATM with support I have to admit I suck, I can't seem to hit much with the SAW while prone and doing short bursts, it feels like it doesn't have too much punch to it. I can do marginally better with the RPK, but with both I find it best to have some kind of height advantage over the enemy before I can hit more accurately.

I don't practice alot with it, but plan to when I get the PKM.

personally ive had better luck firing the saw in longer bursts. use 10-20 bullet burst with saw, but 3-5 with rpk. as for the pkm, well ill be getting that next, so ill tell you in about month, or whenever i make corporal.

oh, and screw assault, go support....cuz reloading is for pansies.

3-4 shots from a PKM will take out any class with body armor, 4-6 for others

I think the SAW can be much better than the PKM in some instances. With the PKM you can usually outline the target other than kill them and if they go prone, then you can forget it.

the rate of fire is badass and it ain't inaccurate at all if you know how to shoot it

With the saw. I usually just prone, ironsight and go full auto. It fires so fast that you will probably kill the guy before he knows what hit him. But I dont try to shoot at all at extreme ranges.

the biggest downside of the SAW (M249?) is the light caliber of the cartidge it uses; hence much lighter damage. IIRC, the SAW is 20 points health per hit, whereas the PKM is 45. yes, 25 MORE per hit than the SAW.

that, my BF2 friends, is a huge difference. you can also put some hats on copters with the PKM that the SAW just can't seem to duplicate (putting "hats" on the enemy was my old football coach's way of saying get your helmet on the opposing player, i.e. "defense! put some hats on that running back! ).

Last night, with the PKM, I took out an un-wise chopper pilot. "say hello to my little friend!"

I really wanna get a nice squad together in game sometime, as described above by another poster, where I am the SL as support, and have a great cast of characters around me to lead. a nice balance squad.
