Plus I really hate when some1 goes and takes the FLAG all the way in the back without even fighting for it. Most of the time this ruins the game for MEC. The map Setup is supposed to be head on fighting, not go take a flag while no1 is there than go to another flag and do the same.
Um how isn't that the point? While no one is around your just going to not get the flag because it's on fair? They shold be gaurding the base, and if they arn't it just makes it all the better.

It doesn't matter which map I play, ofcourse I have my favourites, but I don't go from server to server for those particular ones. I just stay in one server and enjoy the game. The only reason I have more time for some maps is that it gets in rotation often.

                My most played map is:
                Operation Clean Sweep
I can't really remember what it is eiether lol.

Then its Songhua Stalemate, which i like alot.

Dragon valley is another great map too, would like to play more on it.

Can't say karkland is one of my favs to be honest, most people play it because you tend to get lots more points.

Yes, I'm proud of it and no it is not cheating. I just stumbled upon something that gives me a good vantage point that allows me to kill people by groups. The thing I found is so obvious that most people over look its advantage when passing by it.

What I found doesn't always work pending on how good the other team does, but when one team dominates and I am on the losing team, I can really rack up points in a hurry.

The downfall of my position is that I am very vulnerable to blindside attacks and luckily I was only caught once yesterday.

Either way, my vantage point is so good that that I had to call it a "minor" exploit.

                    So where is it?

And to those whining about people going around to the back to grab the undefended flags: defend them! That's why Dice provided space for USMC to move up the far east and far west sides of the map, to level the playing field a bit. Otherwise you just end up with a big stalemate at the southernmost spawn.

a fairley good USMC team will wipeout the MEC bcause 1 squad will go all the way around back and take the flag and move towards the first base and mec is always consentrateing on the first base and what do u know thats the only flag mec has left... a tank rolls in and camps every one so they cant defend the flag and the game is over with in a few minutes

An exploit, minor or not, is cheating. You may need to rephrase your post.

A fairly good MEC team (of which I believe I have seen *one* to date) will engage in defense in depth as opposed piling everything on the first flag. Squads will be spread out with small detatchments watching the back flags for trouble to prevent a major breakthrough situation and the MEC armor can back them up (as long as the first flag holds the US armor can be largely denied entrance to the city by a couple of engies and a couple of AT guys). As a flag falls the folks assigned there would simply group back up and go retake it.

So, a good USMC team doesn't guarantee an MEC wipeout unless there's a big skill differential. The map's main drawback is that a couple smart USMC players can pretty much sink your average MEC team whereas a couple smart MEC players can only keep things even... other than that it is probably my favorite map because there is always a *lot* of fighting going on. It isn't my most played though I don't believe, I'm pretty sure that would either be Dragon Valley (which I also really like) or Kubra Damned (the 16 player map is great fun. The 32 and 64 are more like pulling teeth to me...).

As for "Its lame that you can go cap the back flags and OMFGWTFPWN the MEC team" crap, that only works if the MEC team deserves it as I said. I just wish there were an equal "win" maneuvre for the MEC folks since it is *very* hard to hold onto all flags and it can be very very hard to retake your main base if it ends up out of your control... meanwhile the marines just have to take *something* to keep from being counted down and then can choose between conquest or attrition to finish you off.

I personally play any map available, but I understand how people would want to avoid being bombed by jets every 2 sec or helis blowing up apcs and tanks.
My main concern is good ping and even teams.
Now that I think about it, Karkland would be great with helis! haha
Then the MEC team might guard the back flags.....

The map fries my nerves. I'm serious. It's like the half life mod: The Specialists(holla if ya play it!). After playing for an hour or so, I have to take a break because my nerves are shot. No kidding. It's so action packed and intense that I just have to take a break. I'm forcing myself to play it all the time in order to get to Sergeant ASAP, but after I get Sergeant I'll take a break from it.
