The Swedish police has moved on to a special JHP that bore one inch into a human body and expand, making it very difficult to pull out not to mention the possible instant death by the cheer shock! (They have been critisised by alot of human rights activists but the explain that it was a missed aspect.)

Are you talking about "Frangibles". That ones that can determine the target. They stay cooland penetrate armour, but if they hit warm meat they basically explode and make a huge mess like shrapnel.


As for the XM8, screw it, they should adopt and modify the M16's/M4's to the Barret M468. 6.8mm is way better than 5.56 and would be alot lighter for troops than going striclty back to 7.62.

AK-47 ( I hate to be cliché but it just looks the nicest and i can kill the most with it.
AK-101 ( The last round i did on shiraqi the players were either really bad for lance corporals and corporals or i was playing well, but many times i had DrDaz [AK-101] Name three times on the list in the corner. 30 kills on a basic 32 player.
M16A2 ( i used to love it but now i just cant be bothered with it. its really good at long range in semi and mid range in burst but pretty much i need a CQC able gun and that is not one.

The AK-47 for me. Awesome for all ranges as far as i can see. But id still like to see the FAMAS G2.

IMO, what kills the M16 is the fact that it only has a 3 round burst and not a full auto like the AK101. If I remember correctly the M16A2 (which this claims to be) has full auto, burst, and single shot. Perhaps I am mistaken though.

Thus my vote, AK101. I down people so quick with that thing, its awesome. Although the M16 with a single shot is pretty good too.

Nope, sorry. Only Semi and 3 round burst. Read about what happened in Vietnam and why they decided to forego full auto in the M16. Very interesting facts.

And in general, I believe that ALL the Non US weapons are much better than their US counterparts. I believe there should be some balancing in wepaons in the future.

Finally, I got to unlock the G3. Let me tell you, DON'T. The G3 is actually worse than the AK47/GP30. Get the HK G36 or the RPK, that's it. Everything else sucks.

Thanks for the info Cadde, I really appreciate it. ONe of the reasons that the M16/M4 family is being replaced by the XM8 is because it is notorious for it's jamming in key situations like firefights. But yeah, the AK-101 is the newest of the family, the AK47 is the oldest, although the M16A2 is actually newer probably (i'm not sure) the difference is mainly no full auto, and clambered for a different type of round that doesn't work that well in the M16A1 (it is not a different caliber, just a different type of bullet.) So it's not muvh of a breakthrough, but the AK-101 was the first of the AK series to be all plastic and aluminum stampings instead of the older wooden type. So yes, the AK-101 probably does perform better than the M16A2 in real life, but no armies use it, Russia uses the Ak-74 but the official rifle is the AN-94 Abakan, but they are not produced faast enough, so only spec forces have them right now, the rest all have AK-74s.

nope, only the m16a1 has full auto, which is what they used in veitnam. The a2-a4 all have single and 3 round burst. The reason is that the burst is way more accurate and deadly than full auto IRL since you dont have to put 9 bullets in a guy to kill him like in BF2.
