I love how you call a valid military tactic "lame" and "cheese".

You ever hear the term "Softening the target"?

Stand off a few dozen yards, service every target you can find, and have someone rush up to cap the flag.

What do you think they do in Iraq, when ground troops come upon a building with insurgents in it? Storm the building like zergs? F#$k no. They call up a M1A1, and sit back watch watch while it levels the damn building. THEN they go in and secure the area.

Yeah... and when the building has a bunch of civilians mixed in with it, watch all the M1A1 Commanders get court-martialled along with the idiot that suggested the idea to "soften" the building. STFU about real world scenarios unless you've served.

This is hardly a "Map-ruining" exercise that couldn't be solved by somebody with an ounce of intelligence...

1) Got a commander? Arty strike!
2) Like somebody else said, make them fight on two fronts. Want to avoid being shot at respawn? Don't spawn there... (shock! horror!)
3) Like somebody else said, get some tanks in there to turn those APCs in to tin-can pieces.
4) Concentrate on all of their other outposts. Let those fools have their fun sitting around all day camping a spawn point nobody is at, they'll lose.

Oh how i love this map. Its intense, close combat and usually last along time. Beats running forever to get to a battle just to die. Theres no blackhawk whores but now theres a new problem. The worst spawn camping in the history of...damn spawn camping. I know people are going to rape spawn when trying to get black but they are raping them and just not taking flags.
Last game i played.....One APC sat outside of the Alley where you spawn at the hotel, another APC beside the burning car firing at that side of the spawn. So no matter where you spawned you had two APCs firing on you, not counting the guys on the room across from the alley firing support weapons, and the other tank blasting even more.
You might say "Why didnt use just you just use a AT kit and stop crying"...well because it didnt matter. It was impossible getting to them because of the support guys on the roof keeping the SFs away with c4 and AT was gun down even faster. They never tried to capture the flag just sat there killing over and over. We'd spawn else where, but we have to encounter enemy or keep losing tickets and witht hat setup it was just continous cut down and spawn raping.
Sorry had to vent

at that juncture, if there's no where else to spawn, I just leave the server.

It's actually possible to completely pawn and own those who don't play fair and spawn rape. like I mean own so bad that they die every time in an APC or tank with out getting even one kill, then they’ll go to EA and cry about how unbalanced the game is lol.
Unfortunately to do this your whole team has to work as a TEAM, with commander communicating with all squad leaders and squad leaders communicating with squad mate. you could always ambush cheep asses in the game, even if your squad is ground infantry versus tank squad, but if you don't have your team working 100% spawn rappers will always get the upper hand.

and a word to the wise, even if your not in a squad, be courteous and spot everything you see, always, always, except if your in the middle of a fire fight. but if a chopper is flys by, spot it for the copper guys on your team. if you see a jet fly close by spot it. I am not surprised when I go into servers and see teams loose because of lack of order and team work. yes it's even possible in pubs.

Spawning is a matter of choice, they controled the spawn but didn't take the flag.

Treat it that way spawn back as SF, make a Jihad jeep and go get 'er done.

The ticket bleed for Karkand only occurs if the US dosen't have ANY uncappable bases. Therefore, once they have 1 base the main focus of the map is to KILL people to allow the team a win.

In many circumstances, NOT taking a base and killing people from outside it is the most efficient way to reduce the tickets of the other team.

This is a totally valid and smart tactic. What is a stupid tactic is to keep spawing at a base which is undergoing constant siege. Spawn at a different base, and flank them.

I don't think that ANY spawncamping is wrong, but I can agree that MAYBE the main is off limits, but come on, complaining about people killing you at a spawn point when there are others avaliable is just whining.
