Attention Medics & Support Class

I try to always drop spammo everywhere. I think you can drop 5 per life. Drop 5, die, you can drop 5 more around the map, etc...

Nope. SPam to your heart's delight. I think it may have something to do with a ratio. IE if you're the only support and spam ammo bags they wont disappear. But 10 support guys all spamming tends to make the bags disappear quicker from what I can tell.

I just came from playing and I made a point of checking. It was 5 per life. There may be other factors with how long they stay around but that's generally what it seems to be. I'll check the ratio theory next time as I play support usually.

lol this thread reminds me of all those times on karkand where Im a medic and all I hear constantly is "I need a medic here!"

more often than not im the only good medic on my team (sometimes the only one period). Its hard work trying to be everywhere at once.

Ahhh...all the exercise I get running after people who need health is astounding. They call for a medic then run away from me like im chasing them with a lit stick of dynamite. sheesh

I'll say this much about the support class. THE GUNS BLOW! I have just as much chance whipping out my pistol and sniping them as I do killling them with my machine gun. It's the biggest POS in the game. I do understand this about the support guns. You have to be prone to hit anything (which is kinda rediculous, but can understand). But which really pisses me off. Is that when you're prone, you still can't kill anything. I just wish they were just a little more accurate then I would use the suport class a heck of alot more. I just hate it when I see some guy in the distance so I think "OK I'll just shoot in double taps or whatever." But the first bullet that comes out of the gun isn't even strait on. If the first shot out of the gun was strait on somebody then you could atleast do short little bursts with the thing but it doesn't. DICE screwed up the support class. So instead of complaining to the gaming community about not getting ammo, try complaining to DICE about why the support class isn't worth it.

Also, everybody has bad luck dude. I can't imagine how many times I just spawn and die half a second after I spawn. I don't go on forums and complain to people and make a thread "WHY DON"T YOU TRY DEFENDING YOUR SPAWN SO YOUR TEAMMATES DONT DIE WHEN THEY SPAWN". The realy problems lies in yourself not everybody around you. Let's see you be support class and do half as good as you do being anythign else.

Thanks for the pistol tip. As support, I usually use grenade if there's enemy around. I read somewhere that you have to practice for some MG accuracy. it never works for me. aim high/low/left/right, all angles, no improvement. It simply misses, even at point blank range. Maybe I shall try shooting myselft next time.

The thing that's definitely most annoying for me in this game, is people who don't pick up your packs.

Like I'm running around as a medic, I see a guy with 1% health, I throw a medic bag at him but he starts running. I keep chasing him, jumping while throwing my packs (jumping when throwing makes it go further, so hopefully it'll land on him). All of a sudden one of us gets killed, and I get pissed

I love being ALL CLASSES, Depends on what map your on and the situation at hand.
I'm a total All-rounder.

As for tips...here a medic tip...
...If someone needs pads in a "HOT SPOT" run, jump and throw some in front of you to create a line of them...then run over to Revive him...if you get shot on the way, your med packs heel you and you ger a trvive...!

This is true. While playing Dragon Valley or Daqing OilFields, you hardly see any one playing a medic. Most players are either Spec Ops or assault...so I come in dropping medic packs and rack up a pretty good score just by hanging around a squad. Especially when there taking a flag and defending it.

You know what pisses me off? When a stupid ass medic that is 10ft away around the corner, won't come and revive you. That pisses me off to no end. Idiots.

Some medics wait for the coast to clear before they revive people...so the poor revived people don't get instantly killed a second, third, fourth, or fifth time. I usually either wait for the offending vehicle to move away, or take out the enemy prior to reviving.

I've been on some maps where I was revived 4 or 5 times by the same medic sitting around the corner safe...I'd get popped, he'd revive me, the same guy would snipe me, repeat. Eventually I just flipped around and unloaded into the medic, cause I was tired of being "stat pumped".

For those people complaining "The support gun sucks!" well, unlock the PKM and tell me that. If your still complaining, then you should go see a doctor. I hate when I need health, and the idiot pulls out a pack, and heals me while he could just throw me a pack and it would instantly heal all my health..jeez, how hard is it?

I love being support. I dont miss assault, and plus I do better when im support. I get more team points, and get about the same k/d ratio. I also feel all warm and fuzzy when I help my team out.

THe PKM is incredible. Its just a wild cone of death...don't try to shoot it while standing though! I just unlocked mine yesterday, and the first time I fired it, I knocked 4 guys out at the flag...I'm in love. :)
