Well you'd love playing on a server with me because I throw ammo out like its rotten milk. My problem is the opposite. I play support alot but no one ever yells for ammo even when I can see their ammo bar is low. Sometimes when I throw ammo down the people won't even go to pick them up so I'm chasing people down and throwing ammo at them.

HAHAH dude, been there for SURE.

The other day I was playing while my fiancee and her brother were watching and they asked "what are you doing?"...

I was chasing after this dude who was far in the red on ammo and literally sprinting and throwing packs at him trying to get him to stop.

At one point I hijacked a buggy, ran it in front of him and tossed out 2 packs...

*he just kept running*

but at least I got my damned points

It's amazing how many people get on this game and literally think it's UT - just poitn and shoot - no skill or thought :)

I hate medics and support that always drop packs while I am engage with an enemy two feet from us... ending in us both dieing.

I always call of ammo and supplies,RARELY do I get them.I have to call for the UAV also.

whenever a medic drops health (revives me) or a support drops ammo, i hold Q and give them a "Thanks, I owe you one." Even in a firefight, its just plain polite :P

It seems that that doesnt happen enough.I was watching my friend play and he didnt even call "spotted" or thank you's for ammo or health.I was busting his balls so hard for that!

If the person is truly into playing the medic class, like I am, they will run around throwing as many bags as possible, as in, throw the first 3, and sit there waiting till they regen and throw more. :p also, we medic nuts run around looking for poeple with a low health bar, and either throw a bag at them or run up to them with the bag to heal em up.

I spend more time in a game with my bag or my paddles in my hand than my gun. If I see someone get shot ill run up and paddle them even if Im getting shot myself.

Oh and please, if you see Sra_Slimshady laying dead on the ground, please pick up my pack and rez me! then when I get up ill get your pack and vice versa. OMG mad points! :p

Also if you are ever playing a map with me, just look for me driving around in a transport vehicle... if you need health just jump in.. its pretty much as if I am driving an ambulance around healing the team

I have lost count of the number of times I have seen someone screaming for a medic and then run away from me when I'm throwing med packs. I've had times where I was trying to throw the med pack and hit them with it because they don't stop or turn around.

i really believe most players are completely unaware of their surroundings, I don't know how they stay alive with their tunnel vision. They don't even check the mini-map, or even notice their health bar is near low to death.

So I suppose in their 'tunnel-vision' they are clueless to my needs or anyone else's.

On behalf of medics everywhere who do their job, I thank you. No matter how many times I hear it, it's never too much. To know that my services are appreciated makes sprinting through enemy fire to get to you entirely worth it.

And a note to any of you who like to scream med but don't give a word of thanks: don't get on a server with me. After a few times of your crying but no thanks, you will not ever get a med pack or revive from me. I don't want to risk my neck for some ingrate who thinks meds were made just for him.

To everyone else who does give thanks, I ditto the first paragraph for you :)

I reckon some noobs choose support because it's got "the biggest gun". I reckon these guys don't even know they can resupply people.
I was playing my usual medic self one time, defending the MEC airbase on Op. Cleansweep. I had survived pretty long, and actually ran out of ammo for the first time in my life. Fortunately, there was a support guy right next to me, firing away. There were some infantry inbound, and I was itching to get my L85 pumping again so: "Need Ammo!", "Need Ammo". Maybe he didn't see me... I ran around in front of him... "Need Ammo!"... Started bunny hopping in front of him... "Need Ammo!" .. Popped a guy behind him with my pistol... "Need Ammo!". He got shot, so I revived him... "Need Ammo!"... He got shot FIVE times... FIVE times I revived him... "Need Ammo".... I think you're getting sick of reading "Need Ammo!" in this post right? I think you get the picture...

<~~~~Best Support guy practically every round...from mowing down infantry, to dropping the ammo. I'm an Anti-Tank player's wet dream, naked, holding up an ammo pack like an idol from the god's above. Ohhhhhh yeah.

I rarely play support because I think the support weapons blow a big one, but I'm always medic, if you're dead and dont have something like a tank right in front of youre body, chances are I will sprint out there to try and get you good to go :) I love spreading the medic love with first aid and running through a hail of gunfire to get you back up to speed.

and as commander I usually have to remind guys that I have supplies, I dont think I've ever heard anybody request them. I request them a lot, I usually make my own squad for that single purpose, and luckily I've had some good commanders because I usually get em.
