i was getting like 6 kills a minute! but more importantly i was keeping their Blackhawks down and away from the battle.
It is valid...but to speed up the process put c4 on the front and switch to forth posistion to detonate when close enough...wait...is that cheap?
very smart. i like it alot. if im low on armor ill probably do that, but i can usually blow up the bh without dying myself. and then i go back for repairs .. :)
i rammed the mec chopper into a blackhawk and made it crash, the pilot got 5 tks and got kicked from the server, that solved the blackhawk problem on that one.

its very lame, another problem with the game. They need to start with realism...if theres problems..make it unrealistic till the problem goes away. I dont see how crashing a helicopter into another 2 ton mass of metal and armor would not affect you...
i must agree in some cases helicopters are unfair i jmuped in a ful blackhawk and somehow for just sitting and shooting got loads of cp's and with a chinese heli trying to ram the tail (got ripped by mingun first) but u could use that as a tactic till helis are even

Oh for god's sake people stop using the argument that its unrealistic, or this or that needs to be made more realistic. Its an arcade style game, meaning everything in the game doesn't have to mimic real life.
As for the copters, if its transport copter vs. transport copter, than I do not think its cheap. They are both slow as all hell and you *should* have time to get out of the way. Flying a fast helicopter or jet into a slow moving one is where it starts to get cheap, but it is still a valid tactic.
Putting C4 makes it much easier to kill them. You don't have to actuall ram them to kill them, just fly close to them then switch seats, or even bail out, which may be better, and detonate the C4. C4 is also useful for crashing into tanks, AA, APCs, etc because a copter will not always do enough damage, but I garuntee you a hit from a copter and 5 packs of C4 going off will take them out. And yes, despite what you "honorable" and "fair playing" and "doesn't waste copters" people think, crashing a C4 covered transport copter into a ground vehicle can be very helpful to your team.
