Well its tomorrow morning (how be its still early) and all my weapons are unlocked.

It is kind of nice to play with all of them as I just made Corporal yesterday and was trying to decide which one the chose. But having them all unlocked takes some of the thrill out of getting a new unlock & making (hopefully) a good decision

I see no point in locking the weapons back now. Frankly, I tried them (unlocked here as well ), and to me, there's nothing special. I ended up going back to some of the pre-unlock weapons. I really can't imagine working for all those points just to unlock what's there :hmm: .


Anyway, it seems that the unlock system was something kinda cool, but Dice failed to realize that there are hackers out there who's tallents are every bit as good as there's, and will go to any lengths to open the Pandora's box.

BF2 is an awsome game and I will have many more enjoyable hours, but I think EA needs to simply give up and let it go. Otherwise BF2 will become another Window$ XP, will endless patches to fix endless security holes.

Oh well. I wonder what really is next. I think we might end up getting hacked. Or losing CD keys, I already heard someone who had all weapons unlocked now can't get online. We'll just have to see.

yea my key was taken, Playing on a ranked server today for about an hour or so, got 2 basic medals and a bronze star, logged off,ate lunch then tried to get on and its already in use. BS EA

Besides by playing fair you would have to earn zillion points to unlock all these weapons and that's nuts! So why not give them at more reasonable points?

Profiles with all Weapons Unlocked

Many users logged into Battlefield 2 today to discover that they had access to all of the game's weapons unlocked in their profile. We have fixed the root issue that caused this to occur and by tomorrow morning all users will return to having access only to the weapons which they had earned. Once our solution is in place, if you find that you do not have access to weapons appropriate to your in-game rank, please direct inquiries to the Support sites linked below. In some cases users may be prompted to re-select the Unlock weapons that they are eligible for (if you are eligible for two weapons you will get to choose the two you wish to have unlocked).

I noticed the unlocks today, thought the server was using hacks, with EA trailing on their asses to punish them...so, instead of worrying about it and freaking out like most of you, I stopped playing, went and kissed my girlfriend, and eventually got a piece.

The reason I say this???

STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE STATS, AND THE UNLOCKED WEAPONS. GET A GIRLFRIEND!!!

If you have a wife, then you are not spending enough time with her.

Oh, and I've known which weapons to unlock since the demo, those in doubt can still use the "0 to 1" trick and the "no time limit" on the demo, just to try it out.

Once again, do something else other than praising or trashing EA/DICE. They don't care...simple enough for you all to understand? They made their money, and as someone so kindly pointed out, we see that they want more with an expansion announcement within the month.

What do they care? You bought the game already, right? You're still playing the game, right?

EA got "owned"? No no, the players got "owned". Once again, why would EA care? You're not going to get your money back either way. Is there another way I can say this same statement....hmmm...

- You no get your money back, EA is the devil.

- EA is in charge of the NWO, they want to enslave you.

- EA has more money than you, they don't want to help you now that you gave them yours.

- EA has been doing this for years, and people are still falling for the same tricks. Give them your money, you won't get it back.

- EA is behind the war in Iraq. Give your money to EA and help them fund the Apocalypse.

- EA is the devil Bobby.
