If the enemy has lost all of his flags I say grind the attack home on their spawn and decimate them.

It is annoying when it happens to you, but it's warfare. After all, they would have a flag to spawn at if they did what they were supposed to be doing. Their actions put them in this situation and they deserve to feel the sting of defeat. I consider it a learning experience for them.

Touchy subject, only because people really seem to have strong opinions on this one.

This is just my opinion, there is no consensus, obviously.

During the game I have NO problem with a select group of people entering the main base and trying to ****up the chickens of the other team. People like to whine about this, but it is and has always been my opinion that if you can't kill a few people in your main base ESPECIALLY with all of the teamwork, communication and commander abilities in this game then you just plain suck.

At the end of the game, if a team got their ass really kicked, and have only one base they really deserve what they get.

There is nothing morally wrong with it, the round is going to be over very quick and the other team can take their medicine and learn from their mistakes.

The ONLY time I have a problem with this is when the winning situation was brought about by totally inbalanced teams, which is a different issue.

I think the best thing to do is abide by the rules of a particular server, but if there is no rule and someone gives you crap about going into the enemy base don't worry, they should be spending time killing you and not whining like a little biatch

Whats funny about a lot of this is most of the time the last base, if it's uncapturable is a great place to dig in and get kills.

There have been plenty of times I have been MEC on Karkand that we got pushed back to the area of bases (or base depending on the size of map) just across the river. We dug in, blew up bridges, watched the waterway for armor, and set up snipers. I have yet to be on an MEC team that does that and looses. And yes... the OPFOR arty kills were plentifull, and we were getting pummeled with everything they could toss at us.

If it's an uncapturable base.... just stay calm, play smart, and dig in, you'll more then likely get 2 to 3 kills per death and win. It will be VERY close, but you'll do it. If anything this is more frustrating for the people doing the assault, as they see their tickets get closer and closer to even, and then slowely but surely start loosing.

As far as base raping, or TRYING to base rape..... I don't see anything wrong with it. But then I also have mucho respect for a tiger that is backed into a corner.

what really annoys me is that on many maps the US base cannot be effectively camped because its a ****ing aircraft carrier! if the mec of china gets its ass kicked it will be spawn killed for the rest of the game, but if the us gets pushed back they can just wait at their ship using the awesome gun emplacements for defence until they feel like fighting again.

My thoughts exactly. Although it can get pretty ugly in Oman also for US soldiers to cross the water when the beach is full of APCs... :p

Getting killed is part of the game! Get used to it! Just because that death wasn't in your favor doesn't mean it wasn't fair! Your main base has defense weapons for a REASON! Because it'll probably be attacked!! You think the US will stop at the gates of a real enemy base and say "whoooa we can't enter there, its their base. We would be considered baseraping.."

Have absolutely no problems with base camping/raping whatever. Its a part of the game. If it happens against my team we have to fight it out. We go for the enemy base to take out the radar etc and planes and choppers. If the mainbase is the only base the enemy has left then we go for it with all we got.
Know that some servers have a problem with that and they are usually quick to say so, and if they do i respect that and stay away from the main base.
To be attacked when only having the mainbase left / one base left can be a boost for ur killing/ score
