When you turn around and see a guy falling dead behind you before having a chance of killing you it ussually means that someone from your team sniped him, he didnt have a heart attack. Or when your trying to take a flag and you dont see the guy hidding behind the corner, wouldnt you like to know hes there and someone covers you? Of course that would mean teamplay, wich this game is pretty good at but some dont see it. They just run around with all team taking flags, while losing the ones they already took because they dont know what defence means :)

Snipers
I often play as Squad Leader and have found snipers especially useful for identifying/'tagging' enemy forces and for guarding less well defended outposts from a vantage point. Planting a claymore in an alley the enemy is using to out-flank your defensive position(s) is also useful

You need to calm down. People have opinions and they might not always be the same as yours. For example I think you are a bit of a moron.Originally posted by PteConloncomes from thje loser who gets owned by them
Anyhow, usually it kind of balances things out in this game, and in the games I have played snipers usually get a middle of the range score (don't think I have seen a sniper win yet). The only way I have seen them actually helping is with keeping groups of people supressed, but generally they get shot by an assault rifle.Comment

A good sniper is one of the most valuable things to have on any team where there isnt a great deal of defence. I like to think Im a decent sniper, not a gun by any stretch of the imagination but I can hold my own.
On Kubra Dam for example, 64p, the 2 outposts on the NW of the map are never, and i mean NEVER defended. So i make that my job for the game. I'll sit up on th hills under cover, making sure nobody can cap it. IF by chance they do, i'll wait until the base is clear before trying to recapture it. I'm careful to give spawners a chance to get away, in fact i'll almost always let them go. There have been exceptions, namely spec ops who throw down c4 and (try to) hide, waiting for someone on my team to turn up. In my opinion, he's become fair game. Like i said, I'm careful about killing spawners, cos i hate it when it hapens to me.
Doing this I'm able to hold for the majority of the game at least, one route to the lower dam outpost, meaning that the enemy has one less route to choose from - VERY helpful to a team.Comment
