Well, I will be buying the Geforce 7800 GTX when it comes out, currently I have a 5950 Ultra right now what seems to out preform my friends 6800 ultra, so i never bought a 6800 U.

Anyways, anyone know if the graphics change much? Is it worth it? Is it a graphical change, or something like shaders or lighting effects?

your friends CPU is bottlenecking his 6800 Ultra... thats the only way your card would even compare. Try at least using a higher res and some AA with the 5950 and watch it cry.

I know this as fact since I went from a 5900 card to a 6800GT. Even when Im running overclocked at 3400+ Im still choking this 6800.

Cannot get this to work in the full version. Boots me to desktop whenever I mod the file. Is it restricted?

No, it works...your computer probly can't handle it. Why do people post problems with their system but never post the specs. Useless.

As for Ultra High, this is the first time I've seen this thread since I got my new computer about 2 weeks ago. I run 1024x768@75hz, ALL Ultra High, 4x AA, 16x AF and get around 50 constantly, occasional drop to low 30's but still no lag. 2 GB's of RAM really helps.

Oh my system should be able to handle it and much more. I am running 130FPS per video card

Asus P5ND2 SLI
2 gigs Corsair PC6400 800mhz
2 Western Digital 74 gig raptors RAID 0
2 Nvidia 7800GTX in SLI
680 watt PSU

I am running 16AA and 16AF through open GL with the Nvidia control panel but cant get battlefield to show the settings

I'm gonna call BS on you there new poster. First of all I don't even think there's an option to turn on 16xAA as far as I know 8X is ths max so far. And secondly, you're new to the forums and you're boasting a rig that'd cost well over 2 grand. Post a screenie of your rig and I'll believe you, but you're probly some 14yr old living with your parents who wants to brag about a rig you don't even have.
