I've rarely ever seen hackers. As a matter of fact, I don't recall anytime seeing a hacker. As Catziggy stated, Timeless is almost ALWAYS admin'd. Servers were clan members play are admin'd. Try those types of servers.

Doorman is the biggest hacker in the world. Go on there server and wait when he is in the gunship. Some how he can shoot at you while wayyyy up in the sky out of the range of IDS. And still tries to claim that the IDS will work lol . He fails at life.

He went 57-2 in 19 mins. That is all from killing ground troops. He is such a F N cheater and wish he ran battlerecorder, but they don't cause you could see him cheating.

Oh well I own him for free.

The IDS scans horizontally away from where-ever it is placed. All he has to do is put it on the outside of the gunship and fly around way up high. Every time he flies over someone they blip on his radar and he can come back for the kill.


I love how these threads are so completely ridiculous in that everyone who kills any of you must be using a hack.

The most common hack I've seen is the aimbot and the health hack. The aimbot basically allows someone to head shot you constantly no matter what gun he uses, even if its a gun that couldn't physically do that! The health one is the most annoying though. Been able to suck up 4 guys worth of bullet clips from high powered guns and then kill each one of them spells H-A-C-K-E-R many times over!

I might have a look for that TIMELESS one that was mentioned in the hope that its well admined!

ive seen one guy with an heatlh hack. he just shooted at that guy with ten people or so. but he survived. i emptied one time my hole baur+ pistol+ grenades on him and he even didn't died. he was invisseble on radar, the scanners and an uav. then he knifed me while i was in the middle of the uav. and i saw him a few second before on another roof on camp gibraltar. that guy was a super lame hacker. the only thing i don't know he had were a commander hack since some1 else was commander and aimbot since i never got killed by him except that time with the knife. but the A-S server is a good one. Legoin of benelux is a good one. they even warned an admin for a ban(1st time) and the second time a kick. third time would be a ban.

Name hack seems alot more common. I haven't been online for over a month, but from time to time I check the BF2142tracker and see when my buddies/enemines were last online and more often than not I see at least one of the people on my hit list is using a name hack.

No, imo, there aren't a lot of hackers. Maybe on some servers without PB enabled and stuff, but in all the time I've played the game (a year) I've come across 1 person who I knew was hacking.

I agree with cats on the fact that you should just find another server that has better administration and no offense to you Thirty but i have been playing online games for a long time and never seen a real confirmed hacker that i can be complete sure of. But yet of all of your posts i can remember they have all been about hackers and how you seem to meet with them on a daily basis.

This isnt having a go at you, im just curious as to how you spot them so easily and seem to have a magnetic effect.

It was propably a server hiccup, that happens from time to time and results in ppl not dieing even though you launch nukes at them but for some weird reason, the knife always works.

Ive seen glitchers and stuff but no hackers. However i was on 2142cc console patrol today and saw a senior admin in a titan game which puzzled me as he hardly ever plays titan so I watched.

Apparently people had been complaining in general chat log earlier about people in the enemies titan hanger. Sure enough he joined the squad of people and the squad leader could just jump through the titan hanger outside shield. No deaths no issue just jump through it. Once there the rest of the squad spawned on him.

Needless to say all banned. That was not a programming glitch obviously. It was a hack.

Interesting with some of the replies. Just remember you need proof if you are going to publicly accuse. A screenie is always the best.

For those of you who arent sure of a hack or run into them often, they do exist. But I think you already know that. Being that most of you have a very good understanding of the game, it should be fairly easy to spot a hack user.

Here's how:

1. Watch the leader board. ID suspect.

2. Switch sides [if need be] and join his squad. No squad? Then ID and follow around.

3. Stay behind as directly as possible and watch his gun movements and the tracking of targets through buildings and walls. They KNOW where everyone is at.

4. Aimbots automatically track the next target. It's a "snap" effect. There are enough battle recordings around to help you understand what I mean.

Now this by no means it is out of control, but they are there out there, so dont kid yourself. I have found that the favorite weapon so far has been the Ganz as I find players that are moving and shooting accurately with it. If you have ever used that weapon, you will know the crosshairs are as far apart then some people's mouths on these forums.
