EA Downloader, WTF only 6 months to redownload game unless you pay more money?!?!

For those looking and not finding the file in the cache, Simply rename your Battlefield 2142 folder to something else, then restart EADM. It will allow you to redownload it. Then back it up to disk and change the name back.

Example: Battlefield 2142_

THANK YOU!!!!! I changed it to "Battlefield 2142 backup" and it let me redownload! :yay:

For those of you that may still want to buy NS or others, I was playing around on EADM and when you add it to cart it is $9.99 for NS and $5.99 for the 2 year extended download service for $15.98 total. You have the option of unselecting the extended service (click the trash can:evil:) and it is still $9.99 plus an applicable tax for your area. Then you have 6 months to burn it to disk after download and screw EA's plans for making more money off of you.

When they transferred to EADM it gives you 6 months from then. So most of us still have time to backup.

Do what I did, Download the Game from a popular file sharing medium, and just use my OFFICIAL key, using that *Less than legally Obtained DVD*.

EA have already got the money from me through EA Stink, so they cannot say that I have denied them money, because they already Extorted it from me through EA STINK.

I have already backed up my EA STUNK downloaded version, and NS along with it.

So I have TWO versions, EA STUNK version and <Cough> downloaded <Cough> version, BOTH on DVD.

All u need is the key, get the game from somewhere else and use your legit key.
I was going to purchase NS and with this one I will just skip it...nice one EA .
