TBH guys if it says in the ROC, and I quote:

That EMP padding is NOT ALLOWED. And yet you guys say it's ok when EA rules state it's not allowed. Might as well go on a K&P server and say it's allowed for christs' sake.

Ive played with ezekiel a few times on the gib inf uk server and each time he has got my tags in like under a minute;not many have knifed me ;I thought he was pretty good;Ive been in his squad a few times and never seen anything untoward..

There's no way on earth i would be jealous of someones skill in a computer game, my rank is as high as theirs and my position in the leaderboards is very respectable.

Well it seems all the big names in this forum have replied on this, haven't they? (Well, except sniper and Vika) Who doesn't love a little drama every once in a while, huh?

I like to think that Ezekiel wouldn't stat pad, mainly because he's spoken out against it before, and because he really doesn't have much reason to, I mean, no matter how much you pad, it's not like you're gonna reach KAIN status anytime soon.

But I'm not gonna say it's impossible, though my bet is on it being extremely imporbably.

What i see has happened here is this... a guy that just happens to be one of the darlings of this forum got caught using underhand tactics and the server admin that caught him made it public, thereby letting himself in for a roasting from the aforementioned darlings buddies that don't like to think of their little racist buddy as a statpadding noob.

What you then get is a heap load of flame posts that then make it possible for the forums admin to step in, close the thread and let everyone go about their business and the whole little episode is then swept under the carpet and forgot about.

It's a great thing to see, when you know what to expect.

Which is the point. He is using EMPs as a tool to make enemies easier to kill. It is like saying running around with a medpack out doing nothing but healing is stat padding. If the guy doing that really wants to help my team that much, more power to him.

I know for a fact that you got your high score by doing the pilot switch to passenger drop pin glitch, this isn't just a guess from looking at how many drop pins you have, which is quite a lot considering you are someone who hardly ever plays titan.

Why don't you tell everyone how you nearly started crying like a little girl when you thought your stats had been reset by EA because of your pilot/passenger drop pin glitching.

I don't see why people are comparing spamming emp grenaes in relation to using other kits. The other kits depend on the interaction of certain things within your side or the enemies. i.e. someone needs ammo, you supply it. The enemy blow the titan guns, you repair it, someone gets hurt, you heal them or revive them Do it a lot and your a w.h.o.r.e. I guess is the term. I should know cause i am a hoff one lol. Spamming emp grenades requires no one else except yourself and the chance to get a hit in a large area on the enemy. Its the quickest way to earn points in a game if you do it continuosly.

So far only two people have answered this question. One says only a few points which suggests Ezekeil is stat padding, the other says let hime arn 1000 points because he is my friend... and my friend would never stat pad. Really? You would let someone earn 1000 points in a game and you would not consider that padding?

Ditto. EMP nades only obtain points (exluding the method no one is to mention) when they hit a baddie ergo perpetrator must be in contact range ergo again they are killable.

Some points to note (all IMHO):

Getting hit with an EMP nade is not fun and a valid tactic to confuse the enemy.

Finding the EMPer is not difficult, follow the trajectory and return fire.

So far we have people saying its Ok for people to earn mega points per round just by throwing emp grenades. No one sees an issue in this.

No wonder Timeless servers are so popular because we never condone this sort of play. We set standards and a level playing field.

Not many people say they like ff off but the top servers in the world are mostly ff off.

Constant emp throwing is not padding.

It's just an easy way to earn points by confusing/disabling the enemy...

Same as the points you earn in titan titan guns: kill assist, kill points, silo defend points, titan defend points, repair points, titan defense pins, combat efficiency pin and distinguished combat efficiency pins = AVG 80 global + 200 career IAR (possible 40k/0d IAR). And the best part: is legal.

Sad but true...now get over it.
