Yeah, i was feeling a little bit dizzy when i was seeing that demo walkthrough.

There was so much gunfire going all over the place, very hard to find cover sometimes, but that makes it even more fun!

CoD games had always had the most camera shake in every game. Gets annoying after a while no?

Edit: Yay there's finally crosshairs while moving! Now there's no advantage for people to "cheat" by drawing a dot on their screen.

And anyone else use the hit indicator in CoD 2 to aim while moving?

Well in BF singleplayer is reasonable similar to multiplayer.
I know COD if different, and that makes the singleplayer much better.
But it also means that those looking primarly for online play wont get much wiser by playing the demo. At least that is my opnion :)

When you are sprinting and reloading, and maybe some other stuff too.
Its not that it is particulary annoying, but it gives me motion sickness.

Yeah, I hear what you are saying. I was primarily testing movement, shooting, taking cover, identifying the enemy and other game mechanics to see if I'd like how the game 'feels'. That is something I learned from ETQW because everything about that game seemed like I should like it.

However, ETQW just doesn't appeal to me for some reason because of how the gameplay 'feels'. I was all prepared to drop $50 on it, but after playing the beta/demo I had to change my mind.

CoD4 'feels' great and the eye-candy is sweet!

I'm sorry to hear about the motion sickness. I hope there's a way to disable the camera movement because that could turn a lot of people away.

Crysis is the only game that gives me a headache after playing a while. It's because of the blur though, not the shaking.

Call of Duty 4 really likes to throw you around though :laugh:.

I only get motion sickness while reloading the M249. The character tilts the gun sideways, but since I'm used to the gun being level all the time it seems like the world is what's tiltin, lol...

What im concerned about is if the multiplayer will be decent and not just another counterstrike 4.0

perks is something.. but im not so sure by the looks of the multiplayer vids

im also not so sure about the graphics.. all the cod games have had a very different look to them, like a ****load of layers but no smoothing over the top if you know what i mean soooo hmmm il play the demo level a few more times first

Have you discovered the arcade mode?
Trying to beat you highscore brings new life to the demo.

C4 hopping can be easily avoided in this game if it really annoys you.

a) look for a guy standing at the end of a hallway. In all nearly all of the kills in that youtube video were of people running blindly through a hallway not looking at the C4 guy at all, even though he's dead in front, or people running up to a car not caring to look anywhere but dead ahead while the C4 guy is just off to the side.

b) Find a server with a no C4 mod, I bet they'll be made

c) Use the Bomb Squad perk, so you can see where the C4 is.

d) 1337 hax

What do you guys think of the graphics? COD graphics have always been iffy, COD4 looks good but a little weird too like I said before like using a load of layers but no rounding over the top
