What is the dumbest rule you seen on a server?

I was threatened with a ban for 'whoring the walker' once. I was told that one of their rules was that you couldn't use the walkers until there were 10 players on each side. Nowhere was this rule written down however - I accused the admin of making things up as he went along.

RiP server rule:

Using SAAW to kill air-vehicles is forbidden and will get you perma-banned.

I thought the "no shooting the red barrels" was bad... But this, this just takes the cake. I'm guessing auto-balance is off on that server as well.

Some of the weird rules I can understand at least somewhat. Like no walkers, no walkers until X people, or even no camping the uncap until X people, even the rule about not going past a given flag.

But telling people that they can't use a weapon for it's intended purpose... Wow.

I don't mind spelled-out rules that I can see as the server loads but what pisses me off is when they either don't inform you of the rules or they teamstack.

I think teamstacking is the word for it because several servers (often clan ones) take the top half of the people from both teams and combine them with the worst of the server. I guess it's cause admins can move players but it's just lame when a clan wants to pad it's win/loss ratio so bad it's got to do garbage like that.

They run a 24-7 suez and they whore the Talon so I guess you are screwed if you are PAC.

I've seen the following:

- Kill admin and be kicked.

- Use Voss/Krylov and be kicked.

- RDX only. (I didn't actually play on the server but it was pretty ridiculous)

lol ya i was on a server like that, he banned me so i reported to ea with screenshots, dunno if they ever did anything to the admin.

- sprint only when commanders give 'the nod'

- using a beacon out of context results in ban

- people using voss must show proof of a topic they have created that indicates their knowledge that the voss is a noob weapon

- you cannot use nouns over voip

- dont shoot a player under the age of 15 in the back, results in perma ban

oh i must have played on a different server, cause he gave me 2 warnings and the final was a ban, i messaged him that i sent screens into ea and he said he took the ban off me, lol.

i dunno whys ervers limit the use of weapons and vehicles, that is clear violation of roe.

- Its Called spawn killing when you take the flag and someone spawns there and you kill them (No spawn killing....seriously)

- You cant kill people with inset clan tag here or you will be kicked

At the Texas ...TeamPlayers... BF2142 + NS Ranked server here if you do not follow the commanders orders you will be kicked.

Which resulted in me getting banned after defeating the clan in their gunships, repeatedly.

"Pilots cannot bail transports mid-air"

Which didn't seem to stop anyone.
