I am well aware that many many many snipers out there believe that the gruber is extraneous and superfluous to their killing needs, but i can't do without this device.
That said, i have only just recently noticed a big problem with it, that seems to have been implemented so as to somehow limit the sniping functionality of the unlock:
when holding down shift, the stabilizer bar begins to fill beneath the crosshair, and when you let go of shift, it falls again. the problem is that once you have let go of shift, you cannot reinitialize the gruber until the white bar has completely faded away. this means that even a momentary overeagerness with the shift key results in losing your stable sniping window and will likely mean you miss the shot.
i would like to know if this is either an intended limitation to the ability or in fact a small oversight on the part of the developers. what do you guys think?
ps, if you think that the gruber is crap or useless or whatever, then don't bother wasting your time saying so. i am talking to the snipers out there who DO use it
