was a great tournament...till the end. unfortunate that a team in the finals had to substitute for all their matches.
[sad when 1 team shows 12 players to support the tourney, and the other only supports the tourney with a 1/3rd, and the heavy supporters get shafted]

also the "lonewolfs" idea was worthless. it was obvious you can substitute from OTHER participating teams. 1 person could have made a clan. and found people from the top 3 teams to sup for him and he would win.

as well a few playing that weren't even signed up for the tourney in the first place. The rules state that in this case a match would be turned over....when brought to the attention to the admins....it wasn't.

sorry but this makes SS look bad, as well as their sponsors...and believe it when they will hear about it. :)

top 2 teams in finals helped eachother get there. sub'd for eachother etc.

well DAGL takes 1st, SFR takes 2nd and WW3 takes 3rd in this round. considering SFR had to sub for most of their games and relied on subs to their choosing. ww3 took 2nd sfr took 3rd and dagl took 1st. sorry sfr but you fools cant field a team with majority and rely on dagl/osis to field for you. you didnt support this tourney therefor you shouldnt get any prizes.

No, you are wrong, danutz1183, I have plenty to say to you about this.

First of all, I can't believe this is coming up AGAIN for a 3rd time. In the rules, yes, it states that subs must be signed up on the Tournament site in order to sub for other teams. We also stated that as long as the subs were NOT coming from the opposite team that you were playing that it was ok. None of the subs came from your team.

You state it was a great tournament but then you complain about everything, I think you should be grateful that you were able to place in the top 4 teams and be happy about it.

We also had people complain against your team, but we over-turned those complaints to your teams benefit. Some teams believed that you shouldn't be were your team is, in the top four.

Over everything, in the rules, it says that the Admins may change the rules at anytime, and we observed that right to do so.

Also, EVERY team that wanted to sub players came to the Admins first and EVERY time it was approved by me. We did what we could to get the matches started so that teams would have at least 10 players, we didn't want any team to have to forfeit a game.

And since that sub rule was practiced with all teams, it was a fair thing to do.

If WW3 came to the Admins and wanted to sub out players that were not signed up on the Tournament site, we would have let you.

So please don't come and base judgment on us for what we did. It was our first tournament and we tried to do everything right, and maybe we didn't, but every team seemed to enjoy the tournament and were glad to be in it.

And as much as WW3 has complained, we would be more than happy to have you back at the next tournament, so hope to see you there!!

And the sponsors had nothing to do with our rules or actions, so don't base any blame on them.

you seemed to have missed my point bro.

substitutions:
a "lonewolf" setup was created for the very reason as to teams that couldn't fill their ranks to let those lonewolves in. but this didnt happen. subs were pulled in by other participating teams. [not the ones they faced...i understand this]. but if it was going to be this way then why even create a lonewolf list?

also to add: certain teams couldn't even pull half their teams together for any of their matches. how is that team supporting your tourney? especially when other teams show up with full teams.[full support]

also man as well. you state that admins can change the rules at any time. your right. and have every right to. but also the sentence right after that states that you will inform everyone when the changes are made.

and to end it off. your sponsors have nothing to do with your rules or actions. but you have alot to do with them. The actions you take reflects on those sponsors. Do you think the sponsors would be pleased to know that the #2 team in your tourney only at most pulled 6 of their original clan mates together.

6 at most from their team saw your sponsor ads.
12 at all times. [22 people from our clan came to compete in your tourney. all weekend] from my team saw your sponsors ads.

this is why they sponsored you. to have as many faces as possible exposed to their ads.

really guys i enjoyed the tourney because alot of my team got to play. [i didnt play i just helped my team]. but we got screwed in the end. and you guys sided with a team that showed less support for what you were trying to do. thats all.

ps: me grateful for my team to place in the top 4? are you kidding?If i would have known from the beginning that these kind of decisions were going to be made. we wouldnt have played at all. perhaps YOU should be grateful that my team was one that never needed subs. and that plenty of us came to support your tourney.

also if you remember correctly my friend. when you first brought up this tourney in posts. I was the one in these forums and EA's that gave you alot of your feedback reguarding your rules. In attempt to make it more successful. I have done nothing but try and support your tourney.

Ok danutz, you are right on some points, but don't make claims on other teams when you were not there Admin-ing the Tournament.

But yes, let's change the rules last min during the tournament, then stop everyone so we can send an email out to you that you won't read till after your match that we changed the rules about subs.

And do you really believe that the sponsors give a crap about what went down at the Tournament? Maybe WolfServers do or did...but TypeFrag and Turtle sure as hell don't. They didn't care either, as long as they could sponsor the tournament, they could care less, it's not their problem.

But, the tournament is over, and the decisions have been made, there is no changing that. And there is no changing what place you came in...so why the big fuss over this.....nothing will change no matter who we prove is right or wrong.

And if things with subs were sooooo bad, then were are the other teams complaints?

You should have just left this topic on the Tournament forum, but I guess you didn't cause you didn't want the other teams to see what you've said about them and about the Tournament that they supported.

Not one other team complained about the way subs were handled, not ONE.

Just stop wasting your time.

Do you actually believe if SFR has fielded their normal full team that WWIII would have won?? It would have been a worse defeat than you took. By them using players that they hadnt played and practiced with their teamwork was slower and more inefficient and you failed to exploit that. for SFR it was like trying to win in a pub server against a clan. They were at a big disadvantage the whole time. How do you not see that?

On a couple matches DAGL had to use 2-3 fill-ins and it took them a while and some coachint to grasp our strategy. We werent quite as good as we would have been with our regular players but still better than the others. mid-afternoon on a saturday was hard to fill for most teams. Almost every team in the tourney used at least a few subs. If you didnt then congrats on a team with no other life.

SFR earned their spot in the bracket by winning. Even with their subs they gave us a hell of a run for our $$ and actually had our shields down 1st but like we have said once shields are down I dont think there is anybody better than DAGL at attacking/defending a titan.

SS put on a great tourney and we will be happy to play in any others they host. Every team but you had a great time so stop whining and be thankful you were placed in the winners bracket even though you lost in a previous round. The tourney is over. Stop crying and move on. If you choose not to play in the next one then its your loss.

Dont know anything about the video since I had never seen it but will ask my team. If stolen then yes thats lame and I will deal with it accordingly. I dont approve of such things. I know most of the videos are guys make use footage from our actual matches so dont know why they would step out and use somebody elses when we have 35 titan matches alone not counting all our 5v5 and 8v8 wins.

That has nothing to do with our play on the field and in the tourney. You cant say anything about that. We have always played straight up and with honor and beaten almost everbody we have ever played except freakin osis (titan glitch masters).

My point to you guys was using fill-ins is NOT an advantage and is actually harmful to a team. If you guys couldnt beat a piecemeal team then there is no way you could beat their 12 starters. We have played them and I can tell you from experience they were not as good in the tourney as they usually are. If you think you can then challenge them in TWL and lets settle this once and for all. And while your at it take a shot at us. We havent been challenged in almost 2 weeks while sitting at #1. We are getting very bored and want to play anybody.

BUt blaming SS is wrong. You knew fill-ins were allowed and if you play a match you accept the terms of that match. You cant go back days later and say oh that wasnt fair. If you had won would you make the same complaint?? No..JUst like with titan movement and NS unlocks. once you go live in a game you accept that match unless their is a glitch or cheat that occurs during that match. We prefered TItans not move so the glitch couldnt be used but when we started a match we accepted all rules. we even tried to get teams to agree on no movement before a matcn began. Only 1 agreed. the rest like to use exploits I guess.

I made the "little video" that you all are looking at, for one thing he gave me permission to use the video a while ago and hit me with another PM recently saying this.

"As long as you make well clear where you got the material from, I allow you to use it. Just make shure your movie includes something like: 3D rendered scenes extracted from THE NEW WAR movie, by Dacio "JUNAUM" Alexandrino."

Which was included in the full version :)

Although since half of you kiddies don't know what you're talking about it seems you need to get your facts straight before you start cussing out people.

Hope this game dies quicker then I hoped.

Also Mercyman/Danutz you stayed in vent for days and days to try and get a by because SFR- used ringers rofl.... stop bitching in vent at the admins because you think your clan is better then all. You will never be a top clan. Not even a mediocore clan for any reason at all. What you need to do is get out and get some fresh air and stop gaming in your mothers basement and stop being a brown noser to the admins and actually win a game.

I don't know what game you are moving onto next but I hope to god its another game we are taking up so you can come back and ***** at us again for raping your face in.

As for my personal opinions of this 'tournament' I signed-up early and wanted to play, but the organization of it was heavily stacked towards pre-existing teams. Nice "tournament" if you have a team, but for those of us hoping to be able to put a team together, it just didn't work.

Perhaps the description "Clan War" would work better and us non-aligned independents wouldn't have wasted our time.

i dont need to know exactly what i'm talking about bro. as i said before. he may have givin you permission. but not permission to use it without his credits. which is exactly what that video shows. look at the comments below it. everybody seems to think you did the work. in all reality you didnt. short version and long version should have shown credits.

but anyways throw more flames and insults towards our clan. whatever we may be 1 thing we aren't are thieves. we dont steal others work and take credit for them.
