Yeah I know, I was expecting this answer. But will you have BR running and the BR files available to d/l after the match?

We now have 22 Teams and 204 players! This means that we are short around 20 players to get the min of 10 per team. I'm sure alot of players have not signed up yet but there may be room for alot more lone wolfs to join teams. Make sure you post in the forum if you are looking for a team or a member.

My "clan" [OnA] is in. We're working on filling all our slots. We should have it. The only problem we had last time when wolf had the tourney was the time of the event. If I remember correctly it was in the afternoon. Most of us have family and kids and don't game until after the kids go to bed. So, hopefully we can get matches going on the weekends in the evenings.

If other teams in the tournament have the same issues then we could set you up to play against each other but that takes away from it being random. That being said, it will be hard to do and to keep it fair at the same time. You should post this in the tournament forum as it will be the only way for the admin's to get a feel of what the teams think/want.Originally posted by DeltaDeuceMy "clan" [OnA] is in. There is still lots of room for people to join the teams who do not meet the 10 player minumum. We now have 27 teams and only 267 players. If you want to play you must first sign up on the tournament site (click on the poster to be linked). Next you must join the tournament forum(link in tounament site menu). Last you must post in the lone wolf section of the forum. Make your own post with your player ID# and link for your stats or post in one of the recruitment posts made by one of the teams.
Good luck and I hope to see some lone wolfs sign up. I know there is alot of good players out there who don't belong to a clan. This would be a great chance for some people to join a clan or at the least to see how the game should be played when in a real team. Communication is the key!

267 Players and 28 Teams now...Looks like this is going to be a good turn-out, hope to see most of you there!! There is still time to sign-up, if you aren't already, you can sign up as late as Thursday the 20th of September. Just make sure you have your 10 players (min.) on your team or we will count you out.

Unfortunately we had to pass on this tournament. Starting any match at 12:30 pm est "just past noon" on a Saturday was a guarnteed forfeit for my team. Add to that the flip flopping on the rules "who outlaws jihadding and titan movement in competition?". Sure their legal NOW, but trying to get my guys to sign up for a tourney when those were the rules at the time was very difficult.
Too bad, we probably woulda had a blast, and were a heavy favorite to win

We took off the no Jihad rule and we are letting the titan's move.
We play tonight too (Friday). Oh well, maybe we'll see you next time! :salute:

was a great tournament...till the end. unfortunate that a team in the finals had to substitute for all their matches.
[sad when 1 team shows 12 players to support the tourney, and the other only supports the tourney with a 1/3rd, and the heavy supporters get shafted]
also the "lonewolfs" idea was worthless. it was obvious you can substitute from OTHER participating teams. 1 person could have made a clan. and found people from the top 3 teams to sup for him and he would win.
as well a few playing that weren't even signed up for the tourney in the first place. The rules state that in this case a match would be turned over....when brought to the attention to the admins....it wasn't.
sorry but this makes SS look bad, as well as their sponsors...and believe it when they will hear about it. :)
top 2 teams in finals helped eachother get there. sub'd for eachother etc.
well DAGL takes 1st, SFR takes 2nd and WW3 takes 3rd in this round. considering SFR had to sub for most of their games and relied on subs to their choosing. ww3 took 2nd sfr took 3rd and dagl took 1st. sorry sfr but you fools cant field a team with majority and rely on dagl/osis to field for you. you didnt support this tourney therefor you shouldnt get any prizes.
notice how none from ss has to say anything...?
