yes, in competition it would be retarded to to camp the guns (except for maybe the commander)

Titan movement just incourages noobs to sit on the guns! count us out

have you ever played in a titan match? titan guns are rarely used..

a good counter-tactic is to leave alone those silos that the guns are covering. 3 out of 5 and wait for shield to drop. and if the team doesnt react correctly they could just sit there the whole match and defend letting those silos win the game.

by putting a man[or more?] on titan guns during a match will cripple your team. silos win the game, not the titan. besides a good team with pilums and gunship pilot will give those guns more of a hard time then the good they would do.

by all means go ahead and try it in the matches. but against a relatively decent team your silo game will suffer. which in turn = loss

It's terribly wasteful to titan spam for any length of time in a match (unless it's your commander). If you employ that as a strategy, you will lose.
