Glad Scar is getting a buff. I like that gun and the recoil is actually bearable unlike the Baur's but it's power never fit my liking.

Go BF2142. More buffs. BF2 was a nerf fest.

No Krylov > Baur > Voss > Scar

All the AR's are practically the same 'cept for recoil. If u get used to all of the rifles then, it doesn't really matter what gun u got.

Nah they have different firing rates. Voss and Krylov shoot faster than Baur/Scar in measurements of small increments of a second.

Plus recoil and more firepower the Baur and Scar contain. Therefore Cann0n is correct, there are more differences. Virtually they might seem the same but they feel so much different.

yeah when you factor in the damage and everything, the damage per second of someone shoot another person say Baur vs. Voss at the same time is like tenths of a second in difference.

I like the SCAR. Feels powerful, shoots nicely. Also the best looking gun in the game IMO.

I dont care much for the way the Voss sounds, so I'm geting aquainted with the Baur. And yes the Krylov is sweet and I do like the way it sounds, (for some reason, thats a big issue for me) but I just like the power of the Baur.

voss=25hp normal damage per shot
krylov = 27hp normal damage per shot

All things being equal, on paper the voss and krylov both kill in 4 shots with normal damage (discounting headshots)

In practise though most of the time the voss needs 5 due to a stray shot to an extremity (only 20 damage)

The Krylovs extra 2hp's offsets one minimal hit in a 4 shot burst 3*27+20=101hp

This is the krylovs dirty little secret & reason why head to head krylov>voss more often than not

Hmmm.. well if so then there's a mistake in the 2142 weapon compare tool, cause I know for a fact @<20m 4 torso shots with the krylov is lethal, regardless of armor....

Unless everyone i've ever played against has used light:p

I think i'm in top 100 with krylov now >12000 kills + always 4 shot burst face to face - occasionally results in comical deaths but you gotta be economical with the bullets
