3D WINS AT EVERLAN!

As reported yesterday, Team 3D, the clan we all know as a dominate force in the 1.6 world, was paticipating in the biggest Source tournament around this weekend for a piece of the $21,000 purse. The final results have just come through and Team 3D defeated PowersGaming 16-12 on Inferno for the $10,000 prize!



For a more in-depth look at the final, I encourage everyone to keep an eye on GotFrag.com. For now, it seems like both the Source world and 1.6 world should be scared of Team 3D.

The scores are wrong..

It was actually PG 16-6 3D on the first map (Dust2), but Powersgaming (coming from the lower bracket having been beaten by 3D earlier in the tournament) had to win twice, whereas 3D only had to win once, which they did on Inferno 3D 16-12 PG.

Yes, the scores are wrong and have been fixed - Please understand that I was going off what GotFrag originaly posted on their site - It was hot off the presses at the time and now they have fixed their page as well

Like I predicted.. When you are that good at CS you will do just aswell in either 1.6 or Source.. The differences are not that big, and at the basis it's still the same old game, still CS.. Biggest difference is the differences in the maps I guess..



No barrier for top 1.6 clans to switch to Source other then their own preconceptions..

well 3D in the past have had many player switches since some just quit/retired or left for another team. still out of all pro cs clans. i say 3D is the most heavily sponsored team haha. i mean come on. sponsored by Nvidia. free 7800 gtx for them =P`
