Hey guys, I love Camp Gibraltar. It's a nice map, and a good example of a mix of CQC and long range combat. Every gun (except for the SAAW) has a use in Camp G. There is only one thing that amazes me: EVERYONE uses a Voss.
Don't get me wrong, you should use a gun you like. It is just starting to get a tad frustrating thatI only die to the Voss, Krylov and PK rockets. Yesterday I played a game of Camp G. I am a true shotgun whore, and I was going on a rampage. Had a 22 kill streak until I finally died for the first time. To a Voss. I then proceeded to rambo everyone to death with the Clark. When I had a score of 55-8, I was killed for the 9th (how you spell that? Ninth?), suprisingly, by the Voss. I then asked the enemy team (30/32 Voss) "You guys do know that the Voss is not the only weapon right?" No reply. "THE VOSS IS NOT THE BEST GUN!". Someone replied:"IT IS! VOSS OWWNSS U AL!" Voss owns you all.... well, I was the no.1 of the server, with a shotgun. No one was even close to me score wise. My KD/R of 6 was also a lot better then anyone in the server...
I told the guy that I was having a MUCH better score then him. He said:"NO U SUK DIK SHOTGNU IS FORR NUB". I was amazed. Shotgun, noob? I was becoming a little bit frustrated. "You think you got skills uh, kid? Fine then. Grab a shotgun and blast my face off!". He agreed. I moved around a corner, and he was standing with his back towards me. I knifed him. "FAAAAAAG!" I apologized. I ran around another corner. We saw eachother. He fired. Miss. Miss. Miss. All I was doing was running around in circles right next to him. He had to reload. He started dolphin diving and bunnyhopping like a MADMAN. I blasted him out of the sky at 12m in mid flight. He left the server yelling "HACKER".
A Brig General yelled at me for having a Baur and a Shotgun at once. I said that there is an alternative to the overpowered PK rockets. He still didn't understand me! I told him: HERZOG SHOTGUN! He replied: WTF IS A HRZOG??!". .........
What i am trying to say, especially to all the Voss and Krylov users on Camp G... There are actual other weapons then Voss! Seriously! I am not joking! You can get sick scores with a shotgun, or a sniper rifle, even the Baur is a killer in the hands of a pro. People tend to forget about all the other weapons. You guys should try something different then the Voss, defib, and spam rockets, seriously, it works...
