    Yeah, most things then.

I hope they force certain things like building shadows in future games, even if it does mean some people have to play with less performance. It's almost laughable that they refuse to allow native widescreen displays as they believe it lets you see more on the screen at once (although this isn't really as much of an issue as it sounds, proven by most other games having widescreen), but they let people disable shadows and completely expose people who play with normal settings.

At least it isn't as bad as the Half-Life 1 days. There was a map in Day of Defeat where you had to navigate a pitch black underground sewer, which was fantastic for ambushing people; you could just prone on the floor and have the enemy run past you with his torch. Just a shame you could disable dynamic lighting and remove all shading in the sewer as if it were above ground in the sun!!!!!

Playing with medium-high settings actually make the PAC and EU Uniforms useful for once. The camoflouge blends it much better on medium and high settings.

And the point? People on low can still see you.

Yes, thats why people on low have a slight advantage to seeing enemies.

There is far more advantages on low graphics than just camoflage.

                renderer.drawfps 1
^type that into the console and hit enter. hit ~ to get the console up.

As has already been mentioned a few times in this thread.
                  But I recommended getting fraps.
Its free, and can calculate your max/min/average fps.

nah its just a trial, real thing is $37 iirc

though the trial is good enough for FPS.

Even though my framrate doesn't drop much on high settings, I still have everything on low because it seems easier to distinguish hiding soldiers from the terrain.

If you want to use it as an FPS tool then it's completely free, and as far as I'm aware doesn't even nag you to upgrade. It's just the video recording and such that costs ye.
