Having watched all of those videos (and since I cannot edit my posts due to a bug), I must say...

That footage was terrible. Did DICE just hand that footage out to a handful of non-media 13 year olds that insist on crap intro/outro music, and stupid stuff like the trollface? Even beyond that, the gameplay was not a good indication of anything and really doesn't paint the game in a good light from a casual observer.

Yes, your analysis is correct. That is what happened and there does not appear to be any reasoning behind it. A number of people got 30 seconds of random gameplay. Or something like that.

Unfortunately some turned it stupid, but thats the internet for you.
