Did you see the quoted part where it says what the frostbite engine will have in BF3? I thought you all would like to see that as well.

You can definitely see in the video, Tehran style buildings at 1:33 and city style, and then Paris inspired buildings at 3:50, I know it shows off the shadows and lighting which are amazing, including that palm tree at the end!Comment

a lot of DX10/DX11 features are about efficiency, so features native to them can potentially be pushed further with little or no extra resource use
look forward to seeing more features from the engine, expect some good advanced stuff in there, should add greatly to the atmosphere of the game if they get it rightComment

Right.
