Re: Frostbite 2 engine real-time radiosity

Yup, from stuff I am reading about the engine and seeing it, frankly looks insane some of the technical features they have put into it; I think dropping DX9 was a great move

Nah. I think we should bring back DX8 support.

You know I really think one of the main problems I have with BC2 is the lighting. It's almost like the lighting confuses my ability to clearly make out objects in BC2 although it could be whatever caused me to typing lightning twice. I still can but it feels in a sense like a hassle. I think this looks a lot better.

I have Win7 haha, its my dual core that will probably bring down my gaming experience, that, my 9800, and my 2 GB of RAM.

Oh, and I'm totally broke. I love being in college!

That's all I have (except I have an 8800GT, same thing, really). I'll probably get more RAM sooner or later since that's pretty cheap, but I'm probably not gonna bust out a new CPU, MoBo, and VGA for a while yet. Too pricey, and I can still play most games on medium/high very easily.

Dammit, Kylee pretty much described my computer except I got an ATI card... Looking to upgrade this year though. Might go AMD hex core...

I only play BC2 on low and it tends to lag in exciting moments haha.

I hope this destruction of tall buildings does not bring massive lag, Im already sick of my sniper gun shaking like a paint mixer all the time lol

hmm imagine 32 odd enemy players in a large building

and you get to shoot out the last support keeping it standing
