I would personally wait for official news of this...It does go on to say you might take control of the jet from cockpit.
        You sly fox.

I'm repping you just because you actually got me. That hasn't happened to me on this forum in YEARS.

This game is rolling in right at upgrade time. I'll grab my new gear in March and I'll break it in with Crysis 2 during the 6 month wait for the life-ender.

Clever changing the link title, i hope your happy that i was devastated for a whole 5-10 seconds upon reading it!! btw Im getting a GTX 560 OC to run BF3, and I have an I7 so i hope to run it either maxed out or high.

I have this feeling the engine their using(frostbite 2) is optimized very well where maybe it won't be so hard on our computers processing as much as we think.

What's the point of dragging a person to safety though? If you can't heal him won't he time die anyway..wouldn't it be better to jump and zap him..makes me wonder...can anyone revive..do people automatically heal and get back up unless someone "finishes" you off?

Say you are prone behind a wall and your friend is around the corner and there is a ton of bullets coming through. You drag the guy behind the wall and revive him.

                Re: Updated Facts

That's a good point but with destruction your not safe anywhere. I hope BF3 has better damage to walls and objects. In BC2 one grenade could take out whole wall, i think it would be better if damage was done on a lesser scale. Lets say you have those grenade launchers underneath a assault rifle and shoot it at the wall it makes a hole big enough to see thru and perhaps shoot thru but not walk thru, you need maybe 1-2 more to make it big enough to walk through. A tank shot on a wall completely destroys it however.

In BC2 things were blowing up everywhere, i mean it really felt like a battlefield but there was no holding down and hiding but since Jets are in to prevent total domination by them I assume buildings will be stronger. I can't imagine how many times i would have died in BF2 from artillery strikes and J10 bombings had it not been for hiding inside buildings. I hope bombs/explosives make holes in floors though.

Like any good BF, the medics will walk over the top of you dead body in search of that illusive heal and ignore you:p.. so i doubt there will be mass wild dragging like a pack of hungry zombies.

Aslo Luna im not sure how u did that but id like to learn lol

The dragging could be a way to end all the whining about medic squads and instant revives.
Imagine that a revive now takes 10-15 seconds but you could easily drag someone to a safe spot and do it there.

But, revives give lots of points. Why would anyone NOT revive someone?

Why? Because the medics in BC2 are usually CoD players that just want the big gun and have no idea how to revive or think its an option.

I dont get it either, but I have to BEG people to revive me all the time. Maybe they just want me dead

                          It's probably the latter.

I remember in BF2 being a medic for me meant owning it up with the L85A2 lol
But eventually I smartened up and started to actually bust out the paddles occasionally

Hell, in bc vietnam I was a reviving machine. I would rather revive somebody than go after a kill, probably because I've only played battlefield.

To me personally whenever i was a medic in BF2 i rarely had my gun out at all and just made sure i kept my squad mates alive. Whereas in BF2142 for me being a medic was about leading the squad and whoring it up with my BAUR and keeping everyone alive.

                                I miss my BAUR
