Most people take ~300 hours to hit 50...

Honestly, I'm rotating through the classes. My default class was always Assault with me switching to other classes when they were needed. Now I go through the other classes and neglect Assault.

I figure I'll eventually get a plat star in each weapon. No reason not to, it's just screwing with each weapon long enough to really see what they can do.

I really don't understand how some people choose to have such low scores...

That isn't bragging or me flexing my e-p3n0rz. I really don't think I do anything special at all. I throw ammo/medkits, I revive/repair, I throw ma bawls, I shoot vehicles. It doesn't take any skill at all. EVERYONE should be doing it, and getting teh EZ pointz!

But if everyone did it, I wouldn't get Ace pins ~30% of the time. So maybe their ignorance is my gain?

I'd say that ^ explains part of what I do and why I do it "after 50." I play the freaking game and try to have fun. It really is a good game, and too much focus on stats seems to screw people out of good stats, ironically enough.

I dont know about that. I do all those things and my PPM is 240ish. Of course, I tend to play smaller servers too. Maybe that does something.

That's still not that bad. There are people who spend entire rounds camping and generally doing nothing, averaging 150 SPM. If they ran right into the middle of the fight with both medkit improvements and died while dropping a medkit, they'd get higher scores. But their KDR would be even worse, so they keep right on camping.

You've seen me play. Even as a recon I'm running around like a jackass, capping flags and dying left and right. I get bored way too easily to consider sitting around waiting for someone to come up so I could shoot and possibly kill them.

I go for MCOMs and run around like a nut lol. Thats why my best class is assault.

PPM is also tied to gold stars, a gold star reward will make PPM skyrocket.

I've been chasing gold, and my PPM went from 235 to 260.

I usually throw Recon balls into firefights, and watch my point rack up by the 20s.

Im rich and pay others to play for me. I dont really have to time to watch them though, so they tend to play WoW more than my characters :weo:

I love playing BC2, I think it's a great game. I'm not even to level 30 yet though (didn't play all summer...) and I think worrying about rank, kdr, ppm isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I don't think you have the right mindset when you ask something like "what do I do after I reach level 50?" How about just have fun playing the game rather than making points the end goal?

Note, I'm not trying to say that it's bad to go after points, I do the same thing, but I still enjoy the game regardless of whether there are points or not (e.g. TF2).

I know I know. I take things too seriously.

I play this game semi-competitively.

Maybe it's a trait of mine that has been originated from my studies. I'm a competitive person and likes goals.

Maybe that's why after I beat single-player on Expert in all RTS, i don't touch it again... Hmm...

I'm usually the same way, but I suck at BC2 half the time (I seem to average out KDRs over 2 with under 1 for an average around 1.25... lol) so I don't try to be so serious about it anymore. :weo:
