Come to think of it, I don't think PC players spot that often either.

Well I spot the enemy as I shoot them, but my teammate just steal my kill.

Spotting is on a timer (or just bugged, it seems a bit random). So I think a lot of people have stopped bothering.
But I still do it, if nothing else it is very usefully for tracking a target hiding behind cover.

Steam is doing the same, you get a key from their system, which you redeem ingame. If they release a hardcopy, it will just be an empty case with the key in it.
Also, I think you will find that you in fact own nothing on your PC. You own licenses, and that is also what they are selling in this case

I think you will find that you in fact own nothing on your PC. You own licenses, and that is also what they are selling in this case

True, you may not own it, but it is on your PC already taking up space. Slightly annoying to have them just put it there as part of a patch and then you have to pay extra to use something they already gave you.

Well this way does save the Customer Support of EA from getting clogged with "The expansion download is not doing x. y. z. with the main game ect..." Or other related tech issues.

If they incorporated with the patch, at least if there's a problem with the expansion, it will be noticed early and addressed.

haha go pc, 37 million , far away from the ****ty consoles. more than double from ps3 and almost double from xbox. pc show them who still rules and will rule the world forever

Yeah you are! You could look at it that way OR look at it as telling DICE that there are still plenty of PC gamers out there to win this thing and that we havent forgotten and we support you, so you better support us as well. Also, we, as PC gamers, understand that Bad Company was a console game first and foremost, but dont leave us hanging on BF3.

If anything I hope this reminds DICE of just how much of an impact the PC gaming community can have even with their console titles and in turn cause them to think twice about perhaps putting some PC needs above the consoles in BF3 development.

Under 10 Million to go, map should be out later tonight or so given the trend of the past few days. Best part is we are beating both consoles combined.

I'm playing some operation Hastings on the original BFV right now, cranking some ride of the Valkyries, airlifting PTB boats into battle and blowing away commies......god i hope they didn't butcher this map......cross's fingers for it to be the largest map in this expansion.........:cry:
