      Crunch
Pretty much the engine and tools they use (UE3) is publicly available with the UDK thus you can already develop content, then just port it over to their own version once the game comes out. That and they actually liaise with the modders/teams in their community.

Rising storm (ww2 pacific) Will be sold as a official expansion if they make it to a high enough quality, if not it will still be released as a mod.

All the others are just free mods.

The only thing that worries me about this game is the time of release. The previous RO as has been said had a lot of competition from BF2, 2142 and CoD2. If they claim they are going to release it this year and by some chance BF3 also gets released this year they have just set themselves up with the exact same competition again.

That is true, but the huge multiplayer maps and large 64 player ability will swing it for many, they need to release it before BF3 which most probably will be released around August.

I personally think Bf3 wont be released until at least November this year however i still think 2012 is a more realistic viewpoint.

It's quite possible, i'm just assuming they would want to get a release out before the next COD installment etc.
I mean the guaranteed beta must be sometime between now and October 15th, 2011, to go by the agreement advertisement of MOH 2010 limited edition T1. But maybe they will like you say leave it late on and release in maybe March 2012? Due to the fact they will release Battlefield Play 4 Free before BF3 to snatch some other game base fans! xD

I think if this game is advertised well enough CoD shouldnt be a problem because its a PC exclusive. The fact that the console kiddies cant get their hands on this means the game doesnt have to worry too much about the big guns such as CoD etc simply because the PC fan base will be relying this year on RO and BF3.

Its been a long time since i have said this, but its actually going to be a good year for PC gaming

Without doubt it will be, another game i'm looking forward to is Cryteks free2play warface, now that's what i call a free2play game! check tailors on the net.
I'm looking forward to DiRT3 especially, aswell as obviously Crysis 2, this red orchestra, hopefully COD MW3 isn't a flop, and even Fifa 12 is probably going to be the best yet.

By the looks of Red Orchestra gameplay videos, it looks a tad better graphics than COD world at war, but that doesn't matter, it should be a epic game for all us WW2 game fans that like a game which is well told like COD 2, 5 and medal of honor frontline etc.

The first Red Orchestra also had big maps with lot of vehicles, it will be the same for the second one.

Small? Should probably look again. Many maps will have vehicle combat in the way of tanks. It supports up to 64 players (this is what is planned at least, and mentioned in a PC Gamer article: http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/09/07/ww...of-stalingrad/ ).

                                Small? COD?
