Don't need to get upset about it and start using foul language. I guess I was wrong about the GL, it's just smoke grenades and the shotgun attachment that come later. I bought the game on release day, it's not like I remember the sequence of unlocks anymore. I fail to see how forgetting a small detail like that would refute the rest of my argument or that "I don't know what I'm talking about." In terms of strategy, class structure, and firepower, I think I still pointed out everything accurately.

Also, I never claimed you wanted something more powerful than a GL, that's why I added the "furthermore" at the beginning of the paragraph. It was an addendum to my previous statement.


Take one of these and add me on BC2 (Ptoliporthos). We can play sometime. :)

Did Rindee just delete all his posts and his profile? I guess he could have been hit by the banhammer, but that usually leaves some kind of forensic evidence behind.

If so, I would like to nominate this as "Hissy Fit of The Year", even though we have only made it to January so far.

But I wish the posts had remained, the thread looks weird without them.

Anyway I actually felt that there was too many clasess around with AT cabability. Often Recon/sniper would have a better weapon in the form of their C4. And with that, half the classes could handle a tank. In fact, in BC2 assault would also get C4 if they took a weapon without GL.

ahhh 2142, I have such good memories of sprinting into an area and unleashing those gatling guns on the mech

I was thinking about this more the other day, and a bit more now that some info has been released, I dont want to go back to the BF2 setup, because there were too many, 2142 had it great I think I just aint 100% sure about assault/medic combo

I think for it to be perfect the sort of weapons you can use will have to depend on other equipment, like a class within a class, so you would have the class as assault other all, if you want to be a medic, you get medical equipment, but that means you cannot carry the most powerful weapons, if you want to kill stuff, you get good weapons but less support equipment? not sure if that would work, 2142 medic/assaults were lethal

but PK rockets on a walker hahaha, I would have mowed you before the first one even detonated :p
