I'm going to wake up early and head to gamestop and pick it up, I hate to pre-order because in the past games would come 3-4 days after release, why do that when i can go and pick it up myself. Anyone know if gamestop's around Queens, ny will have any in? I hope so!

it has a nice manual hehe, and the extra content is a steam unlock code

not gonna try installing it though ha cos Steam will just give me the "gtfo it aint release date yet"

How much was it, I got the limited edition from amazon for £24. And it was 'shipped' on the 8th. Bloody royal mail

I like the demo, especially with some of the mods already out ha, like playing an unscripted land battle; the Battle AI can actually be really really good, it has beaten me even on normal!

I like that they keep some of the stuff the same, like the basis of the campaign and battles, because I think it works well, I admit the unit cards took some getting used to, especially since they are all in one line now, but I got used to it and found it works better especially with how they are organised and grouping.

But I like it because its more focussed if you get what I mean, melee warfare with archers etc and less gunpower, more focussed and standardised units oddly makes for good fun imo (as you know which units to use)

I think its less that they top it, but continue to refine it, personally I hope for a Rome 2 someday, but an American civil war one would be awesome

I'll be playing it loads starting from next week ha, first campaign is gonna be as the Shimazu

Yeah, I agree with it seems like the others. I hate to say it, but this will probably be my last TW game. I love playing them, but I just dont see them topping this unless they get into the American Civil War, which I dont know how well that would go throughout the world. Nintendo made some great Civil War games.

Those unit cards are hard to figure out. The all look the same. It takes time to figure out what card is what and thats time my men dont have on the field!

The only bad point come from lassitude, I feel I already played it after playing all the TW games even with the improvements, but yes it will be good nonetheless. I hope the multiplayer is good too. And I need a mod to change those damn unit cards.
